    how do you guys deadlift so dam much

    are you guys frauding or what. see so many sigs/ people saying they are deadlifting 400+ and their bench is like 215.

    here are my best lifts. all are between 160-170 body weight

    bench 275
    squat 315
    deadlift 345
    clean 230

    i see guys have sigs like this
    bench 205
    squat 325
    deadlift 455



    am i doing it wrong?

    no you are doing well, but you also have to consider if people are using straps or not. even grip without straps makes a big difference.

    i personally only do double overhand, which means my dl is lacking but owell

    Those are solid lifts based on your bodyweight. At 215 I was able to deadlift 315 x 10+ reps with ease. That was at 14% BF, though. Currently I'm lucky to pull it clean for 5 reps.

    Idk about my 1RMs but my 4RMs are 245 for bench & 405 for deadlift.

    When im on the misc my numbers seem pretty proportional but irl it seems like my bench is lagging a good amount.

    My squat right now is 315 for 2 or 3 reps btw

    Edit: i dont use any straps, belts, or chalk btw. 100% raw

    Maybe changing your form could be a quick fix. And to your question, some people are built different and come from different backgrounds. I deadlifted 275 the first time i ever attempted it and within 8 months or so i was in the 400's. This can be partially due to my 6'5" wingspan, and years of basketball (jumping, explosive drills, etc)

    Record was 540lbs x 1 @ 180lbs. Bench at that time was around 350lbs. Haven't tried to lift that much in a long time though.
