for one thing, upper body and lower body have totally different muscles, so what someone bench presses is irrelevant to their deadlift.
second, seems like every time someone posts up a deadlift vid, they're using improper form and inviting injury just to brag about how much weight they're using. Bound to catch up to them eventually...but even if it doesn't, it's still increasing the chances of injury.
Also depends on structure and flexibility, I imagine. OP, your deadlift seems kinda low compared to your squat. For me, deadlifts are way easier than squats. They get me more tired, but in terms of how much weight i can use, I can use much more weight on deads than on squats. I struggle with 205 on squat but can do 275 on deads (only a couple reps though cus my grip gives out. I'm gonna keep working with that weight to strengthen my grip, though).

Feelsgood. Just trying to get my dead to 405. Then I've reached all my goals. I also take NO supps. Have no strict diet. Was squatting with a bigger guy other day and he failed to hit 315, I was disappoint. Another big guy today failed to dead 365 I was doing, dissapoint again.

A lot of e stats, there are some very strong people on the Misc especially for low body weight, my max deadlift at 6'2" 235 lbs was 500 and that was mixed grip with chalk and training hard doing strongman for a year, bench was never past 295 tho lol

Oh, and my lifts are weird. At 215:
340 bench
325 squat
500 deadliftThe real winner in any argument is the one who learns from it. Evolve your beliefs. Reevaluate your primitive ideas when a better alternative arises. Admit when you're wrong. Be humble. Rely on logic and reasoning, common sense, not blind faith and stubbornness. Question everything.

i do have a reason actually. i lift to make myself a better rugby player. im not a powerlifter or bodybuilder. so i prefer not to use chalk in order to work on my grip strength more, which i need desperately for my position (i play lock, if you're familiar with the sport) to hold scrums together... also i dont think my uni gym allows chalk anyway.
as for the belt, i just dont see the point tbh. i'm not a competitive PLer. i dont need to hit certain numbers on my lifts in order to win a rugby match.
