I'm trying to see if there is some sort of pattern here.
My mother is 5'3 1/2
My father is 5'10-5'11
I'm 6'3

I'm just a shade under five-eleven. (I'll have to fix my signature). My parents are both gone, but I remember my father being five-seven. He was bowlegged, and had he not been so he would have been five-nine. My mother was a bit over five-six.
As an aside, my wife is five feet even and my thirteen year-old son is almost five-eight. My little boy--ten--is almost five feet in height. I think both my boys might end up taller than I am."Don't call me Miss Kitty. Just...don't."--Catnip. Check out the Catnip Trilogy on Amazon.com

Exact same height as my Dad and his Dad..
Don't have their decades long pregnancy esque mid sections though..The surest way to corrupt a youth is to instruct him to hold in higher esteem those who think alike than those who think differently.

My father had all daughters, and we're all shorter than he.
On my parents' wedding day, my dad was 6'1" and 117 lbs. srs. And with a voracious appetite. He was born in 1936 and was taller than his parents and all of his siblings.
At his heaviest, he might have gotten up to 185 lbs. He is currently around 155 lbs.
And he is very handsome. Always has been.
My mom is 5'9", and as I said, they had all daughters. The tallest of us is 5'8", and she married a fellow who was 6'4". Their son is 7 feet tall.No drama: You know where we are.
