smolov jr bench workout at home
go to the gym and do chest and back for like 2 hours
go talk to my friend who is squatting.
end up squatting somehow
paused beltless 405 lol
tl;dr my strength makes no sense. also I'm overtraining soooOOooOOoooO hard.
but this guy at the gym is going around telling people i take pro hormones hahahaha. and his reasoning is that i told him i ordered some online. and also because i failed a 405 squat but then 9 days later i hit 430 LOL

Well I dabbled and program hopped a lot about 2 years ago. But seriously and consistently since the beginning of this year I guess! I had already hit a 170kg deadlift a few years ago though - albeit I had a 60kg squat hah!
Yeah gorilla arms and massive femurs = great conventional deadlifter.http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=165717061

Normally I have a good "diet" and typically consistent; came home for christmas... I ate 3/4 of an extra large pizza and a couple wings last night for dinner... then todays lunch was another 1/2 of an extra large washed down with cookies haha
ps. if anyone doesnt know, Costco Take and Bakes are hands down unreal as well as a great price"Weights, Plates... Determining My own Fate": http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=164857211

strong fukaraounditis, I debated running Smolov when I got my love for Squats. I feel as though my crappy form is something I should address before I ever run it. Also just my overall strength. I also think I might run it if I had a basement rack/gym so that I could easily do 2-a days and dirty bulk lol
I have heard that despite it being great for adding to your squat total, it doesnt actually add that much when you factor in the amount of volume and overall sessions.
Strong, and great looking nonetheless."Weights, Plates... Determining My own Fate": http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=164857211

das it mane
watchu mean??
I think smolov would be great for building up form, practice, and mobility. just input your max into the program as something you could hit for 5 clean reps.
i put in 395 but my real max is probably like 415 (beltless)
i also changed the program just a smidgen. instead of some consecutive days of squatting and some not
(the program is on, off, on, off, on, on, off)
i changed it to just every other day i will be squatting. it'll extend the length of the program just a little bit but i feel this is better
thats what I'm doing basically
dirty bulking for sure
but this is what i do:
squat, back, biceps
bench, chest, triceps, shoulder
repeat
+ tons of food. I'm probably near 200lb now
hey you gotta do what you gotta do when progress is so god damn slow. i enjoy squatting so this is a fun ass program for me. also supports my laziness to not do any leg exercises besides squats

That was what i was getting at. you're gonna get A LOT of practice running this program. just put in a easy number for your 1RM that way it isn't too hard. high frequency + high volume + light weight = great way to learn the movement, build strength and mobility with sub-maximal weights, decrease chance of injury, etc. etc etc.
thx bb. wood watch vids /10
yep. every other day is my sweet spot. everyday is just no bueno. das itLog
