It wouldn't stunt your growth, provided you are eating nutrient dense food and providing your body with sufficient calories and micronutrients.

It won't stunt your growth, but I wouldn't put too much weight on the squats though. Elliott Hulse has a video about this, can't find it right now, but it's something about putting too much pressure on the spine stunting your growth. Still do squats though, just not way heavy.

It won't stunt your growth, it's a myth.
Just take care when lifting and don't lift too heavy otherwise you could injure your self.

And ignore the irony of the fact I'm 2 inches shorter than you and 15 years old

I'm 36 now, and I started training at 15. Looking back, I think maybe weightlifting stunt my growth. I'm 5'7, my dad is 5'10''. Oh well nothing I can do about it now, but if I were to go back in time, I would only play a lot of basketball, and do bodyweight exercises like pullups, chin ups, and dips. Then, once I reach the age of 21, then I would start weightlifing seriously but not doing heavy squats or deadlifts until I'm like 25, just basketball

I think the only way you could stunt your growth from lifting is really injuries like if you were to break your back
which won't happen unless you attempt an exercise without even seeing it before

This is not true. If anything working out at this age could actually PROMOTE height growth. When you exercise with the required intensity and volume and optimal rest periods, your body will secrete a large amount of Human Growth Hormone. HGH is a major hormone in relation to height increase and muscle mass increases.

Your bone density will also increase and POSSIBLY, despite popular belief, you may also experience slight structural changes to your skeletal system. If your aim is to get broader shoulders, then starting weight lifting an focusing on shoulder exercises will help your bodys process of your changing body. Your collarbone can continue growth until the age of 25, so generally you have another 10 years before reaching your full potential structurally.

He said that it compresses your spine (you'll gain the height back once you sleep though), but if you don't do enough streching/mobility work your posture is gonna be wrecked and will make you shorter, until fixed.

if your parents are about the same height as you now your pretty much going to be that height forever anyways, you may grow a little more.

Like my dads 5'8 and my moms 5'2, im 5'7 so the most ill grow is maybe another 3 inches, or i could stay where i am now, but i dont think bb will make a difference in that

I haven't been weightlifting for very long at all, but from what I've heard on these forums and the online research I've done, you don't have to worry about growth stunts as long as you have consistently proper form.

No it dont every fkn swimmer lifts they are all 6'3+

there is no evidence that it stunts anyways look at all strongmen they are all freaking huge and tall... Just lift or stat weak

Edit: its healthy for bones and btw height is genetics deal with it
