Jay Cutler - 2005 Mr. Olympia PICS You May Not Have Seen!!!
This is probably one of the best physiques Jay Cutler has achieved at the Mr. Olympia contest behind his 2001 & 2009 Mr. Olympia look. Jay's conditioning was pretty good and he easily took second behind Ronnie Coleman.

Title: "Pics you may not have seen!"
Pics: mandatory poses from the Olympia from Flexonline...
Not sure if srs...
Nice pics, though. He looked good that year, but Ronnie had just enough to be noticeably better.
Jay's pecs were flat as hell that year, though. And since it was the first time I saw Jay pose, I gotta say that year was when I realized Jay looks the same posing as relaxed. No projection whatsoever. I think he kinda started getting some in 2007 and in later years (of course, in 07 he came in super flat and soft). Nowadays you can kinds see his muscles working when he flexes and he's getting more muscle maturity and hardness.

Np
I'm dead serious lol. These pics have been taken down from Flexonline years ago and is very hard to find of the internet. Also, we have many members on this forum who have joined after 2005 and have never seen them. So, I think the title is on point.Legends Of Bodybuilding!!! 1000's OF PICS OF YOUR FAVOURITE BODYBUILDERS!!!

Jay looked great here. Its a shame his physique started to go downhill as time progressed so we couldn't compare this with other top bodybuilders (heath, kai, etc). Coleman looked good at the show, but did not destroy Jay as in previous years.

Any comparisons? I watched a youtube video but it was angled. I know ronnie was shredded that year and dealt with the gut issue to some extent, due to the critics in 04. I noticed ronnies quads were already showing asymmetrys that year.
A print i took from the video that shows a difference in separation development and condition between the two:

Don't get me wrong, Ronnie beat Jay and crushed him in some poses, but I thought Jay looked really good that year, and some of Ronnie's issues seemed to be showing. Ronnie's quads, while massive, lacked the cuts and separation of Jay's and also had the asymmetry issue as you pointed out. Not to mention his left lat and tricep did look noticably smaller in the relevant poses.
Even the scorecard shows a slight (ever so) difference from previous years as Ronnie did not get perfect scores in the first round of judging.Frustrated at bodybuilding? Read my rant:

I agree. Funny thing about Ronnie's rear latspread is he is the only bodybuilder I know that doesn't need to lean back in the rear latspread lol. Yes his back would of looked better, but it was so big, wide and thick that it really didn't matter how he hit the pose. Here is pic from the 1999 Mr. Olympia where Ronnie actually leaned back in the rear latspread and it looks 100x times better.

Jesus christ lol. Jay looks very soft there overall but he has an incredible separation between arm and shoulder.
I always noticed one thing that distinguishes jay and ronnie. When completely relaxed, jay's lats look like they are spread while ronnies back muscles seem to crumble over each-other giving that "hang" look. I assume that was because of combination of jays wider structure and ronnies increased thickness.
Theres a video of jay walking in front of ronnie backstage at some O while ronnie is eating that shows what i mean. Alwyas found their different looks curious.
