Question Protein Powders that are High in Iron?

Anyone have recommendations for a protein powder that is also high in protein?

I'm using Whey Gourmet right now, which has 75% of the daily value for Iron. So far, every other protein powder I've seen has next to no iron in it... does anyone know of another brand that is high in iron?

(I'm iron deficient, so I need all the iron I can get!)

Honestly you are not going to find too many, as a large chunk of the consumer base is male and we can not have too much iron ay ways (most mens vitamins omit iron or have a very low dose). I imagine iron by itseld can be had very cheap so just supplement it on its own and go with any brand of protein.

I do believe Isopure has a hefty dose of it along with a bunch of other vitamin/minerals.

Maybe just purchase an iron supplement and save yourself the hassle?

I have prescription iron pills, but they can upset my stomach sometimes, so I like to try and get iron from other sources that are easier to take. So if I can get iron from my protein shake, it makes my life so much happier

I'm quite happy with whey gourmet, it's cheap, delicious, etc. but it's only 21 grams of protein per serving, would like something a bit higher that also has iron, but if 21 grams is all I can get for so much iron, so be it!

Like said, probably not very many that are high in iron... Just going to have to try to eat foods high in iron. Or, find different iron supplements.
