I had to lose weight to pass my biometrics through work. I'm 5'8". I was 215 three months ago. I am now down to 193, and would like to get somewhere around 180-185.
To lose that weight I focused mostly on cardio. While I want to continue the cardio, I also want to start to add some muscle. I am just looking for an athletic look again.
any supplement suggestions for a noob just getting started?
My first purchase was 5lbs of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey Protein.
I would love suggestion, or any links to other good reads. Thanks!

Get your training and nutrition down first before you start worrying about supplements. A protein powder would be the only thing that I would recommend to you until you get more situated (even thought it's not needed).
The main part of this site has many training programs. Pick one, stick to it, work hard, and you'll see results.

As for multi: Orange triad, WODpak, NOW A.D.A.M, BB.com brand, Opti-men
Fish Oil: 2-3g EPA/DHA a day
Creatine: 3-5g a day, everyday no loading phase
Than Head here. Calculate your macros.
+500 calories for bulk -500 for cut. Use your protein supplement to hit protein macros, their timing is irrelevant.
