    Pullup plateu?

Me and my friend have been working up a pullup ladder , we started at 10 and are now at 17. Our goal is to hit 20. We don't go back up yet we just go 17, 16,15 so on .. But we did 17 for two straight workouts now cause we are struggling with it. How do we break this plateu and hit 18

    Try weighted pullups.

    ^^^ This

And/Or Don't hit failure in your first set, example don't go for 17,16,15,14 instead do 16,16,16,16

And/Or apply Grease The Groove Technique.

weighted pull ups for sure. just use a weight that you can only get 8-12 reps with for a few weeks. then after that time im sure your would have made your desired gains

    two whole straight workouts?

I wouldn't call it a plateau lol. How long between workouts? If you are doing them every time you go to the gym, how about rest for a day or two and then try again before you call it a plateau.

I broke through my pullup plateau this week just by doing a lot of pullups. I finished off every back day with 50 pullups no matter how many sets it took me to complete. I just hit 3 sets of 12 so now i can move on to weighted...finally
