I recently went from 25%body fat to 11 215 lbs to 175. I've got my body down to the weight I wanted and put on lean muscle which is very noticeable but I keep hearing I look sick or malnourished or anarexic. I now have a new goal of pushing my weigh to 190 solid mass. Are there any supplements I can take in order to help me with this all info is greatly appreciated I'm not really smart with supplements...

This pretty much answers your question.
Start counting calories so you REALLY know how much calories you are getting in. make sure you are in a caloric surplus. If you have the extra cash to spent then by all means go get a mass gainer. Bodybuilding.com usually had great deals, sometimes even BOGO deals.
You'll be better off though just making your own
1 cup of oats
1-2tbsp peanut butter
1-2 servings of fruits
1-2 scoops of protein
1 cup of milk.
add or take away ingridients depending on your taste and daily macro needsLast edited by BulkyPinoy61; 07-28-2013 at 07:05 AM.

wrong
That's like the 10th post I read about mass gainers won't help u gain weight which is just wrong. If u eat your normal diet AND take a mass gainer w over 1000 cal and 50g protein, your telling me your not gonna gain weight?
I was 140lbs and w a mass gainer plus protein(creatine in mass gainer) I gained 45 lbs. Granted I drank 2 huge shakes a day equaling over 1500 cal and 80g protein plus my normal meals but still. If I didn't take those gainers I would have put on a lot less weight. Dk y people keep saying mass gainers don't help cuz its BS. I tried it and it worked for me.

ok
What did I say? I said IF you eat your normal diet AND take a mass gainer w creatine you WILL gain weight. Pretty obvious if u take mass gainer w out eating your not gonna gain weight. Weak argument.
And the magical powder comment is just retarded, almost everyone on here takes some "magical powder" i.e. whey, casein or whatever. For me instead of constantly stuffing my face w food high in fat and cholesterol, I eat 2 meals plus snacks AND 2 shakes w over 1500 cal and 80g protein. Total is over 4000 cal.
If u only take mass gainer and don't eat your a moron.
And w my shakes at less then $3 a shake, I'm saving money AND getting high quality cals and protein. YEP def wasting money.

If you get 1500 calories from mass gainers not only are you wasting money but you probably aren't eating a normal diet. Also creatine doesn't contribute to weight gain unless you count subcutaneous water weight. Most people don't view whey/casein as magic powders, they use them as food to hit their macros.
Well, regardless, it is clearly working for you.

How am I not eating a normal diet, in fact what does how much I take in shakes have anything to do w my regular food? Go take $2.75 and go to mcdys and then tell me what's better for ya, 2 burgers or a 1200 cal 60 g protein shake?
I get what your trying to say but its just wrong and telling new lifters sumthn that's totally wrong I'm gonna call u out.
And w creatine, like I said, in the beggining you'll put quick water weight on them if u continue to lift and eat the water filled muscle turns into just muscle.

Seriously? I didn't even mention carbs but to say its crap protein just shows how lil research u did. Of course it has carbs and sugar, its weight gainer not a diet shake. Another stupid comment categorizing a bunch of products into 1 stupid wrong analysis. Good try tho.
45lbs of cut weight in 2 and half months. Proved it to everyone yesterday. But its def crap carbs, crap protein. What a joke.

a weight gainer with 50g of protein has about 200Cals from protein, and the rest are carbs that come from sugars and fats that come from crap. So think before you talk. I used to take weight gainers and i never again. I make my own, cheaper and i know what kind of calories im taking in.. you're just stupid. wonder why you're neg.

You are encouraging users to opt for high priced alternatives to eating a moderate diet. While protein powder/mass gainers are essentially just food to be used to fill calories/macros, encouraging a beginner to get 1000+ calories from shakes is just teaching them wasteful habits that are unnecessary. OP is clearly a beginner as he said he isn't too knowledgeable about supps. Therefore it would be smart to lead him in the right direction by telling him to read the nutrition stickies, learn about calorie/macro calculations, etc. He may find out he doesn't need a mass gainer if he can get in the calories he needs from food.
Also your understanding of creatine, dieting, ebonics, etc is just comical. There is a reason why you are red.

Haha. U guys r a joke. 1000cals from shakes is wasteful? How? U guys r obviously pros. And please explain creatine to me cuz I have correctly and both u douche bags just say your stupid w out any facts 50g of protein is way more then 200cal. U guys r just guessing w no facts. And go ahead make your shty home made shakes saying there better when there not.
Its just sad the bs u guys spread around. And the reason I got neg rep is people thought I was lying when I said I gained 45lbs w gainer. Then when I proved it nobody said Sh.It
