never had it happen to me, never had anyone else tell me it's happened to them. I only hear about it on the internet.

Used to happen to me all the time. First time it happened I thought a witch was slowly creeping towards me it was the scariest moment of my life. Afterwards I got used to it and just lay in my bed until I could move (took about one minute). I stopped sleeping on my back so it doesn't happen anymore.

happened once to me during a scary dream about ghosts or some chit, took a while to get back to sleep after
I constantly wake up and hallucinate though, I'll look at something in my room and think it's a person or an animal until i switch the light on, it's so annoying lol and happens regularly
The other night i woke up thinking my desk chair was a grizzly bear......retarded brain being retarded.....i'm so used to it now though that I 99.9% know it's just my eyes playing tricks on me, but that 0.01% is enough to make me turn the light on and off before i go back to sleep
I hope i'm not the only one who has this

It's very real, srs it's the worst thing it can happen to you, you're in your sleep but you're concious, and you can't move a muscle, you can't even scream,it happened to me once,i was in a parkinlot,i heard footsteps and they were walking faster and faster until you could hear someone running, and then i finally screamed like never before...Worst expirience ever...

I get it like once a month and im about to teach u brahs how to escape it 100% srs.
First... tell yourself you are just going to just lay there in your head and 10 seconds later, use every single amount of strength and make a sudden burst movement. Works all the time.MFC Troll Crew - The Bowling Team

I think I had it once in 4th grade, but it wasn't like anything came up to me.
I'm obviously dreaming but in my dream I'm just lying awake on my bed on my back.
Can't move can't do anything
I slowly open my mouth and this little ball of light/spirit comes out slowly
I think it was my soul/life force (crazy as chit)
Couldn't breathe because I thought I was gonna die
The ball goes back into my body and I wake up screaming.
Fuk brahs, still remember it.

Been a sufferer of this schit since I was 8. Still get it from time to time, especially if I wake up and then go back to sleep. Wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I don't get the visual hallucinations that a lot of people do, but I get the aural and sometimes dem feels. The worst episodes are when I can't move and I hear a fukked up voice whispering in my ear in some foreign language while tickling my sides.
You get used to it though and it goes away or the episodes are more far apart as you get older. Supposedly it is genetic.
Wiggling toes helps and if you can move your head do so. It's extremely hard to move your head in full blown sleep paralysis but it's doable, you'll just feel schitty for the rest of the day.*Stopped smoking crew* 2 years and 5 month bishes, and counting.*

Sleep Paralysis crew checking in. Sleeping on my side or stomach does nothing to prevent it from happening for me. I literally fight my body trying to snap back into "awake mode" every time I feel myself falling into a sleep paralysis; you never get used to it.
Working on...
Beethoven - Sonata No.21, Op.53 in C major, "Waldstein"
Chopin - Etude Op.10 No.12, "Revoluationary Etude"
Bach - WTC Book 1, Prelude and Fugue No. 22 in B Flat minor

It's happened to me frequently in the past, but hasn't for some time now. Eventually if it comes back, I'll get it in bunches, something like 3 times a week for 1 or 2 weeks and then it stops.
But I've never experienced it with monsters and all that kind of ****. It's more scary to me because I once found myself in a very awkward position where my pillow was obstructing my nose and mouth a bit and I couldn't breathe properly. When it finally stopped I was panting for air.
Dat feel of relief when you can finally move. I always try to move my toes and fingers first, that seems to get me out of it.
