Yup! Then any jagged parts get smashed flat by space rocks over the course of millennia. At least for solid planets anyways. They say that the Earth would be smoother than a pool ball if it was the same size as one.

Where are the pictures of uranus?
"Powerlifters shout at bodybuilders because bodybuilding produces mountains of muscle tissue with no functional purpose. Strongman competitors look down on powerlifters because there's more to strength than a one-rep max in three lifts performed with a minuscule range of motion. Olympic lifters, if you can find them, get to feel smug because every 4 years, you can turn on the TV at 3 AM and see them compete for gold. And everyone hates on CrossFit."

That won't happen because we are human -- but because we are human, we can use our ingenuity to reach the stars and expand our race. That is our only true method of survival. You need to look past your own immediate life or the immediate problems surrounding you, and think of the bigger picture.
I was very tempted to neg you, but I think you just don't realize the importance of these baby steps in the grand scheme of things. It may seem like a waste to you, but not only do we receive a ton of trickle down technologies from space exploration, but we learn more about ourselves and our own history, as well as work towards our future.*ZMA, Superpump MAX, Green Tea Extract, Garlic Extract, Fish Oil, Joint Supp.*

Alright. This is simply ignorant.
Space travel and exploration have already provided countless tools and opportunities that have improved human life on this planet. That is an indisputable fact.
Could we have gotten there eventually? It's likely. But space exploration forces us to push beyond conventional boundaries in engineering, communications, medicine, chemistry, materials science, energy production, etc, and develop technologies at an accelerated rate out of necessity not seen on this earth.Check out some of my mixes over at Soundcloud.com/jthemig

if we cant fix our planet why the fck do we deserve to colonize something we haven't known?......wtf
If I don't pay my mortgage do I deserve to go buy another home that has a slightly nicer bathroom with the same mortgage payment? of course not!
ohrly? lol

So ask yourself this,
A NASA engineer stands outside of a Grocery Store alongside a Salvation Army/Childrens Fund/Cancer Fund representative asking for donations and you have a 5 dollar bill left in your wallet.
Who do you give it to?
A lot of you idiots seem to find providence and a misplaced sense of understanding as to the benefits of space exploration.
btw, for the people who would give the 5 dollar bill to NASA, you are the exact reason why we cannot focus on space exploration yet....and I hope you get hit by a car. :-)

Jesus F. ****ing Christ.
Solid logical fallacy there. Gambler's fallacy or inflation of conflict (not limited to plenty of others).
You know what, the true NASA scientist donates that $5 to charity knowing that an upright and just government, not hellbent on the war machine ((Navy officer brah checking in (on all of the massively over-bloated defense contracts)), would still be willing to invest in a future not constrained by the petty back-and-forth of this tiny little world.
We could all die in a fiery collision with an asteroid in 10 minutes from now. But our space exploration seeks to prevent even the most cataclysmic of possibilities.
Oh wait... world conflict, we can't do that.
Ignorant ****.Check out some of my mixes over at Soundcloud.com/jthemig

Seriously? With that singular statement you discount all of the technological advances involved in exploring space.
Negged on recharge. Yeah it doesn't matter on some grand scheme. But it tells others that I'm willing to say **** you in some sense of the phrase as it relates to: 1) science in general and 2) the proliferation of the human species.
Go get a law degree and become some useless politician and fuk over all of your peers, and stop wasting the time of true visionaries.Check out some of my mixes over at Soundcloud.com/jthemig
