How do you guys get over that little doubt that creeps in when your lifting? I know I can physically lift the weight but I have to work to get over the mental side of the lift. How do you guys get pumped?

Music, definitely music. When i am at home before hand might be motivational videos or music while reading an awesome copypasta about gym or something. But moment i enter the gym music immediately.

I think of Arnold's quote from Pumping Iron:
The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the
champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having
the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens.

Certain parts of certain films motivate me, so before i hit the gym i watch clips on youtube to psyche myself up (the film Bronson springs to mind as well...i was like him as a youth!)...just anything that brings up some anger inside me to get me to say FU to the pain and push through for best results (i dont do the shouting and slapping stuff, its all mentally here)....i wanna be the guy people look at and go "woah".. and to be fair i want to be proud of my body not ashamed of it, that is the biggest motivation deep down "The stuff in the trunk".

I like to get myself pumped up/motivated right before I start my workout. Fast paced music (thank God for Spotify), and I think of one of my favorite quotes. "Once you control your mind, you can conquer your body." As 71Avido said, doubt fades after a while. Something else that might help you: Picture what you want to look like one day, and think of the progress you've made so far. Put yourself in the "How bad do I want it" mindset.
