I just hit my stepdad..

First, He has been with my mom since I was 6 years old (i'm 17 now, inb4 ->tmisc). He used to be there for me when I was younger, but not like a father figure.
Me, him and my mom moved to another city 4 years ago, and ever since then my stepdad has been smoking pot and drinking beer every day . This obviously has torn our family apart.
Fast forward to December 2011, I woke up in the middle of the night because I heard my mom screaming. So I ran downstairs, only to find my stepdad hitting my mom (he was drunk obviously). I didn't lift at the time so I was 5'6'' 150lbs skinnyfat, but I told him to stop and I pushed him away from my mom while I said "What the phuck are you doing?!"


Note: My mom is 5'4 , 115lbs while my stepdad is 6'4' 180ish skinnyfat.
He proceeded to hit me repeatedly in my stomach/chest area. I couldn't believe it. I didn't know how to fight so I just stood there and took it like a phucking loser. It has been bothering me for years that I didn't do anything. I questioned him about him the next day but he said he didn't remember anything. Nobody phucking hits my mom.

Fast forward to today: I came home from the gym, and my stepdad was pissed, yelling at my aunt (she is on a holiday here) and my mom. The problem was that he couldn't find the phucking weed. Again, he was drunk. I thought it was best not to get involved, yet. From downstairs I can hear him yelling chit about my sisters and me, and him telling my mom to ask if I stole his weed. You see, he is too much of a pu$$y to confront me about it. So I go down, and I ask him if he wanted to ask me something, he says no and pushes me out of the way. At this point, i'm pissed. So I take a look around on the kitchen for 10 seconds only to find his goddamn weed, I throw it at him and tell him to go and phuck himself.

He pushes me again and my rage takes over. I kick him hard over thighs, hit him in the face once, ready to go in for the knockout. My aunt and mom manages to stop me before I get to have 1 final punch. I managed to hurt him a bit, ending in he leaving the house with his weed.

I know I probably shouldn't have hit him, but who the hell hits a 115lb woman which is 1 feet shorter than himself?

Nah apparently he shoved her, either way it's a good job he left the house at that point because his face was going into a wall. I moved out shortly after that.

this sounds terrible. But know this: YOUR MUM IS AT AS MUCH FAULT AS YOUR STEP-DAD. The best thing for you is to leave this situation ASAP. If your mum doesnt have enough sense to leave an abusive husband or rather leave before he turned abusive then shes just a potato like your step-dad. Its difficult to turn back on your parents but they are not 'special' they are just human like you.

Your step-father is a bully and your mum is a sucker. Abusive households produce dysfuntional children so the best answer is always to leave an abusive environment.
