“What hairstyle should I get?”

- For starters.. Determining what shape your face is important to pull off a desired hairstyle.



- You’ll also find various hairstyles you might like itt. Generally growing the top out long and keeping the sides short makes a good base to play around the try different hairstyles.


“How do I get this hairstyle?”

- Best thing to do is take a photo you like and take it to your barber or hairdresser and ask them to cut it how it looks in the photo and also get advice on how to style your hair. Also post it up itt for critiques and someone should give you some advice.


“What hair product should I use?”

- Hair product is a tricky one, it varies depending on your hair type. You might need to try out different brands and different types of hair products such as pomade,wax,hairspray,gel. I would recommend going to a store and asking for test pots of various products.

- Generally. If you have thick hair a medium-high hold pomade should do the job. If you find that it gets too clumpy, try a lighter hold and use hairspray to keep the hair in place. If you have thinner hair, a lighter wax like American Crew should work well. To the Asian brahs, give Gatsby Moving Rubber a go.

- Hairspray also works well with the combination of wax to keep your styled hair in place throughout the day.

- If you want something with no shine, get the hair product with a matte finish. Ones with shine should generally say how shiny the product is.

What are you guys all using to style your hair? Currently using American crew pomade to brush my hair to the side and I don't like it. I have fairly thick, curly hair so I need something with a tough hold. Been hearing good stuff about the American crew fiber but I was wondering if there were other things I should check out first.

I have worthless facial hair 'netics so I'm disregarding that. Hair-wise, I think the pics are pretty indicative; it's not like HY where product makes it look significantly shorter. However, you'd have to give pretty specific instructions to your barber to make it 'unkempt' like his - it's bordering on mullet, almost.

Some more angles. I like this, as an alternative to the SS which is every****ingwhere especially where I live.

EDIT: I can't identify product for chit. No idea what gets this look, but I am gonna try green gatsby.
