Their website said it's similar to pumpkin pie so I'm very excited to try it once I can find it.

I was thinking the same thing as soon as I tried it... very similar to pumpkin pie which I really enjoyed.

B&J Scotchy Scotch Scotch

Finally found this flavor in our area. Surprised it took so long for a store to stock it since I came out well before the movie was released. First time having this and most reviews I've seen for this were B's. No mix-ins though and I'm a mix-in junkie like Bob, so I actually had low hopes going into the pint. Opened the pint up and the first scoop, I went right for the butterscotch swirl. Big fan of the butterscotch swirl. The butterscotch base complimented the swirl very nicely. I'm not a butterscotch fan, rather in-different to the flavor usually, but I really enjoyed this pint. Swirl was very sweet with a strong butterscotch flavor. I may be giving this pint a rescoop at some point because I did enjoy it.

turkey hill chunk peanut butter, this is good the ice cream is light and fluffy almost, lots of peanut butter and the peanut are whole peanuts taste great really enjoy this!

Seems kind of like they took the idea for the salted caramel core flavor and made it into a scoop shop friendly variation. Intrigued.

I was not that impressed with S'mores when I tried it as I thought the chocolate was way overpowering, but it looks like you got a solid pint here with good mix-ins.. I may have to give this a rescoop!

Makes me want to re-try Smores. I scooped it only once and it was when I was first getting into premium ice cream.

Everything But The... is always great and the pint I've likely scooped the most.

Made the trip to Walmart on Friday after work and grabbed some Sams Coffee and Donuts and Sea Salt Carmel ice cream. C&D is meh, doesn't hit the spot for me. SSC on the other hand, I'm a fan for life.

I'm going to have to agree the SSC is probably the best of the sam's flavors. although i havent tried the chocolate/pb one, its next on my list though by the pics im going to guess it will be #3-4

Hoping to pick up the Blackberry Crisp and RWCC soon. They didn't have either on this trip.

I also had some Blue Bunny Bunny Tracks last week. I enjoyed that, lots of swirls and mix ins. The base is nothing special vanilla but overall not a bad scoop.

my normal walmart didnt have the blackberry/RWCC flavors i went to a different one and they had them..go figure...just a heads up.

The glaze is what made the pint for me. I had plenty of doughnut mix ins, but with they were larger in size. No big deal with the amount of glaze that was in that pint though. It was like half/half with the base which was awesome.

yup, you dont have to have an awesome swirl or mixins (granted its a perk sometimes) to make a great ice cream. also not big on coffee thought it was a bit to strong, and the swirl was a bit to sweet for my tastes it was like just eating pure sugar syrup. maybe a different kind of doughnut would of been better for me, like a chocolate or cinnamon covered doughnuts. Everyone is different buddy some people will like some ice creams and some wont, I've had some that come recommended, but ended up not liking it at all. to each their own

A) pb ice cream with weak choc base with lots of pb swirls and pb cups
B) strong pb base or choc base with weak mixins

80% of the time i'll prefer A. I think it depends more on the type of ice cream. If i'm craving pb for example, i want tons of mixins. If i'm craving some mint chocolate chip, the mixins dont matter much.

Agreed and this is why most fdd have tons of mix-ins. They have to make up for the lackluster quality of their bases.

I guess for me it just depends on which flavor i'm looking for. Sometimes i'm looking for cold candy, and other times i'm looking for rich high quality ice cream. Obviously the best imo is both ala Greaters Salted Caramel Fudge Brownie

Got on the scale this morning...and sad to say it was pretty damn depressing, so its time eat more ice cream.....alot more...

anywho can anyone suggest a good cake batter/birthday cake flavor ice cream? for some reason been craving this flavor like crazy....I've already tried the great value"new" flavor, and the blue bunny birthday cake one....are there any others?
