Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

Recent trip to Washington and found a few neat things. Sorry for not so in depth reviews, i had them about two weeks ago.
Steve's Southern Banana Pudding
I thought this was fantastic. This was one of the few icecreams remaining on my had to try list and it is by far the best banana ice cream I have ever had. All thats left on my have to try list is Steve's sunday morning.
Found some of this in a supermarket in Olympia. Althought I've never been a fan of the flavor I had to pick it up because of its legacy. I'll admit its better than I give it credit, but my alternative is just so much better.
There are no safeways anywhere near Minnesota, and out of all their flavors i thought this one was the most interesting. This is honestly one of the best icecreams i've had in a while. I know chad gave it a less than stellar review on his site, but i actually got a 2nd pint of it. It has crunchy chewey gooey sweet cream and slight hint of honey all in one. I think this deserves a scoop from anybody. Honest A in my book.
I really enjoyed this. It was simple and very floral tasting. I put it on some crepes, and ate some of it on its own. I think its fantastic in small portions.
The next two are just two I saw at my local whole foods in MN
I havent tried either one. Anybody else have any input?Last edited by Gemuadrken; 12-14-2013 at 06:26 AM.

Ben and Jerry's scoop shop is right next to the hotel I'm staying at and no CBP. Very disappointing! Did try C7LB and it was excellent. Easy A in my book. Will go back and try Chocolate PB today.

I was in the mood for some mint chip ice cream earlier this week so I swung into the Dunkin Donuts near my house which stocks Baskin Robins quarts. As a child Baskin Robins mint chip was my favorite ice cream however after digging into the quart I realized it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered it being. For $6 it def wasn't worth it and I won't be buying any more Baskin Robins ice cream ever again. If you want bomb mint chip hit up either Turkey Hill or Talenti. Top 2 in the game imo.

Forgot to grab pics of MMP but it was good. The frosting swirl was a bit too redundant, IMO there needed to be a crunchy element, but otherwise a solid B overall.

dr. bob's-- both get a B+/A-. high quality stuff, just kind of boring as far as mix-ins are concerned. still worth the pick-up and looking forward to other flavors by them.

MMP was definitely one of the better chocolate flavors in the lineup. Definitely agree with the general sentiment that it seems the chocolate base was tweaked/overhauled for this one.

Mississippi Mud Pie B- I could see how chocolate lovers would find this a bit more appealing but to me it was pretty bland. It needs one more mix-in, maybe some candied pecans or something like that.

Agree with Erick that CT was better. Probably a tier above.
Pass on Rockin Blondie. I really, really wanted to like it after how much I've been lamenting the lack of blondies/brown sugar bases in the lineup since the discontinuation of Maple Blondie.
SSS was absolutely legit. I thought it was going to be boring given its uniform components, but that hardened butterscotch swirl was absolutely amazing.
