I'm terms of ease to clean, blender bottle is the way to go. I wouldn't recommend the shaker bottle, there is a rim around the top that gets protein stuck in it that is a b*tch to clean.

Normal blender bottles are the way to go for protein shakes, etc. The noise of the ball can get annoying, so I use a cup without a ball for pwo's, BCAA's, etc. I have close to 20 shakers and this is my best one that isn't a blender bottle:

This things is easy to clean and never leaks. Leaking is my #1 issue with most of these cups, but this one and the blender bottles don't have any issues.

'Yea you can't let that protein sit. Its a preferable breeding ground for some smelling ass bacterium.


I always rinse mine out after using. Even a couple hours will start a stink.

Probably looking for a bottle that I can mix my PWO in, but also have at work with me filling up throughout the day with my ice water at the office.

Smart Shake or Blender bottle is my preference. Smart shake if you need to bring pills and stuff with you, blender bottle if you are just taking a shake.

Blender bottle. But I did just get a spider bottle and that is pretty awesome since u can store pills, powder in it. Awesome for traveling or on the go.

I like the smart shake shaker cups it dosent come with a blender ball but I just throw my old one in there, it's pretty convenient because you can store protein and supplements in it.

Blender bottle for me and I actually prefer the wisk ball for both protein and my bcaa or pre's which can become clumpy over time. I have no issues hearing the ball bounce around.

Gotta go with the blender bottle....I got tons of those lying around and a drawer for those metal wisk balls so I can throw them in any shaker cup that is clean!
