Working days this week, but slightly later. I can wake up at 5am instead of 4am, which still sounds terrible, but isn't.
Bench Press
70x5
90x5
105x3
125x3
140x3
160x11 (this is the best I ever did with BP)
Seated Row (115lbs)
7/7/7/7
Dips (+25bw)
8/8/8/7
CGBP (130lbs)
7/7/7
Pretty happy with this morning. Definitely the best BP I've ever had in terms of 1rm. My 1rm is now over my bodyweight. I do take that with a grain of salt, because I know 11 reps translated into a 1rm is not very accurate, but still, seeing the number is a good feeling!
I missed my dips by 1 on the last set. I'm telling you, I hovered there at about 80% of the dip for like 5 seconds trying to get up there, but couldn't close it out. I'll get it next time.
I ran out of time for the last CGBP set, but doing those right after dips, my triceps felt like balloons.
Have a great week, everybody.
Oh yeah, it's my wife's birthday today, and we're going to this place tonight

Definitely the best buffet in the area, and it's all-you-can-eat steak night. I am purposely eating light all day to be ready for this!

Thanks, man. I'm definitely on an upswing, currently. I'll take it!
That place is pretty good. Most buffets around here are garbage - cruddy chinese places or golden corral-type places. This place is the real deal!
I don't think I've had steak since last summer on the grill. I am definitely ready for this. From unappealing to slightly less unappealing - A QUEST!

Where are you Robo? Hope all is well and you're still getting to lift some.
If in doubt, squat and run hills. So you walk into the gym and don't know what to do? Then squat and run hills. Have a miserable day at work and want to break someone's neck but aren't sure who's? Then squat and run hills. - Wendler
