Pros and bodyweight exercises

Why don't pros do pullups or chinups? At least I've never seen any recent bodybuilders doing them. They seem to prefer various grips on the lat pulldown / cable machine for their vertical back work. Is it because they're just too big to be using their bodyweight anymore? The same goes for dips...I just don't see these bodyweight exercises being done by today's pro bb's.

I'm basing this off the videos I've seen of Jay, Ronnie, Kevin Levrone, and Dorian. I know it's a select few, but I don't think I've seen any of them performing bw exercises.

I don't watch a whole lot of them. But i've seen Ruhl, Lee Priest and Levrone doing dips, and Cutler doing chins. Just off the top of my head.

i speak for me.i did lots of chins and dips when i started and i think there are basic exercicies that everyone should do.but at this point with 125 kg is dificult for me to do chins ,i can do dips and i like them,but not chins,maybe i would do 8 reps for first set,5 or 6 six for second and so on,so i prefer to do 4 good stes really squeeze my lats than try to lift my weight in chins.
beginers....do chins and dips till u fall on the floor.

I read that Victor Martinez does pullups with added weight. Either with a 45 pound plate or 2 45 pound plates hung from a dip belt.

I've also seen JOJ doing pullups and chins.
