This may seem a bit dumb, but im training for a meet in november, and i retested my maxes today for deadlifts, raw and with a belt and straps, now since i will be competing raw, should i be using my raw max? Or should i strap up, and do some grip lifts for asisstance work?

Why are you training with straps in the first place? For one, you should know ahead of time what your federation allows. Not to be a dick, but your deadlift probably isn't that high that it surpasses your grip strength with chalk. Why use straps when you could use a belt? Whats going on? lol
