◆◆MrCompulsiveX chases his dreams◆◆ A log of chasing the most valuable commodity

Featuring AI Sports Nutrition 3Z sleep and rest enhancer.

I actually started this a while ago but had to delay it because of a huge near loss and major hardware failure on my computer. I logged them manually again via pen and paper and will just update as they are dated. I don't have the dexterity to type large amounts from a phone so I will be playing a bit of catch up.
HUGE HUGE thanks To JohnSmeton for hooking this up.

Background: for around 16 years, I have had the worst time with sleep. It is very irregular, I have been to sleep clinics, have used nearly every over the counter aid available and have yet to have regular patterns. During college and graduate school there were times where actually staying up overnight was easier than trying to sleep. Furthermore in my career, there are often times where I choose to work over night(small business owner) in place of wasting time to go home and stay awake.

I have recorded my activity over a 6 hour block of sleep before and I have awoken upwards of 30 times. All past/present girlfriends have told me about my sleep talking, walking, I have almost torn open windows, woke up thinking I was choking and spit all over, all sorts of crazy stuff. Needless to say, sleep and rest is very important and I just don't get enough of it.

Goal: To try to improve slightly or partially regulate sleep - if this does not happen to at least calm the amount of sleep talking, walking etc.. and try to rest better. I will record whatever dreams I remember and whatever my sleep recorder on my iphone pics up along with any storys other people who may or may not fall asleep with me share

I'm excited to at least see some improvement in rest.

I'm starting this as the 21st because from the 19th through the 21st I worked 2 straight days.

First does was a 2 pill dose on an empty stomach about an hour before hitting the hay.

I literally slept right through the night, 8.5 full hours, getting up once to pound water and to empty my bladder.

I was a hair groggy upon waking up and after trying a couple of sample packets of 3z prior, I somewhat expected this.

No dreams, no tossing and turning(my hair which is usually the short spiked look) was only matted on a one side lol.

Crazy. I slept so soundly my back was sore from zero movement for 8 hours.

So the 22nd of the month - just lol.

I work in the automotive corrective detailing business. We work a lot of long hours, and get to be around and drive a lot of really cool stuff. So one of the cars I really fell in love with which isn't a "big deal" compared to others was a 1966 Porsche 911 which came in. I had initially met the owner and had a look over the car a year prior but the owner booked a preservative treatment for the car, basically some light corrective machine polishing, polishing all chrome and bright work, deep clean and condition the interior etc.. lots o hours. We have worked on some seriously expensive metal, but for some reason this was one of the most exciting cars to work with.

Soo here we go with this...

Full dose of 3 caps -

Pretty restful probably 4-5 hours, woke up pretty groggy though, slow and kinda sluggish which is atypical regardless of how much sleep I get.

Dream cliffs was as follows - the shop basically became a white room, lab coats, the 911 was there and basically what happens is a dream within a dream(inception type stuff) where i was taken back to the horrific start of the vehicle where i learned the vehicle was a KIT CAR built off a chopped top FC RX7. Sparks flying, cutting of the body, basically me hearing myself screaming as they hacked the 911 from the RX7 - seriously I was terrified and so sad as I dreamed. Very strange stuff.

Now another recurring dream is about kittens under the sheets - this is a sleepwalking thing. Proabably stemming from my farm born days and having a few barn cats that we had to be careful of their kittens with the horses on the farm and whatnot. So a girl stayed the night, I work up, and told her DONT MOVE - DONT (EFFING) MOVE, then calmly "theres kittens, be careful". She tells me to go back to sleep and apparently I drop like a rock onto the pillow and back to sleep.

Dealing with more intermittent computer issues - may need to bit the bullet and log via phone. Not looking forward to that.

Both the 23rd and the 24th brought the same thing with this stuff - grogginess. Oh my goodness.

So meals were good, sleep was very "still" as in not tossing and turning. I figured the grogginess may have been from dehydration on the 23rd, so ensuring solid hydration I repeated the 3 pill dose and got the same thing. It was HARD getting up, more hard than when I get 2-4 hours of sleep by myself with no assistance. Probably slept around 5.5 hours both nights, getting up once after 3 and 4 hours to empty my bladder and drink a bit more water but man, I felt like my body was full of concrete.

No dreams to speak of that I remembered at all.

The 25th of July was a strange night, that included multiple up and downs from bed. I'm not really sure what it was about and I am not including it to discount 3Z - let that be known first. I really am a TERRIBLE sleeper, completely dysregulated.

Oddly enough I decided to record my sleep sounds on my phone while it charged and I noticed that the 5 hours in bed I spent maybe 3 sleeping(with about 3 self-talking sessions) and then a ton of tossing and turning. I recall specifically getting up a few times to empty the tank, and drink water and then one where I was just so wide awake I decided to stretch a bit to see if that could get me calmed a bit. The weird thing though was I hopped out of bed, and after a shower felt reasonably good.

Not another good night here - no dreams to speak of aside from the self-talking which clearly was something but my notebook shows no recall.

Interesting idea on looking to record yourself, could explain a lot on the sleeping issues

Yea it all started when a lady friend stayed the night and actually told me I was trying to prevent something from flying in the window, standing up on the bed, blocking the top part of the already closed window from coming in the house. I couldn't believe it but I was super tired so I decided to try it. Lots of rustling, snoring and talking..

So the 26th and 27th both ended in severe grogginess, after a somewhat rough 6 hours of sleep each night, I was literally dragging the entire day.

Both were on 3 cap doses of 3Z, both did have recordings that seemed to have less movement than some, but man it was tough. Couple that with a couple of hot hot working days, long at that, and it was really tough. At this point I decided to try 2 and 3 cap doses, just because the grogginess really hindered me during the day. Super tired when leaving the gym, though the workouts were normal.

Still trying to figure it out, it seems like a couple individual ingredients can leave a person here and there a big tired, so I am going to find what the "right" dose for me is. Hopefully its 2 caps at this point.(going forward to aug, it seems 2 caps is the sweet spot for me but I didn't learn that yet)

I have, and from what I remember, even the smallest of amounts gave me symptoms of restless leg syndrome and kept me awake. Though it has been a few years.

The 28th was actually exhausting during the night. Work competely early, I decided to take a 2 cap does to see if it would settle me. (One of the points I make is to write down my thoughts and actually clear my brain as much as possible so that doesn't interfere).

So i definitely felt relaxed about 30 minutes after ingestion, thought for sure I would easily fall asleep - clearly this was not the brains plan. Basically I stayed awake, though ridiculously relaxed(which I will take over non restful "awakeness") til maybe 4am, finally dozed off and up again at 6:45. No idea what happened here but I made a not in my journal about how it didn't really affect my day after actually waking up.

As much as I didn't sleep this was looked at as a positive night of assistance by 3z.

I mean it definitely helps relax me, for sure. The weird thing is I want more sleep, but my body just says no, and proceeds to run otherwise perfectly on minimal sleep for the most part.

magnesium really helps relax the muscles before bed. 3z which contains 400 mgs magnesium, in addition to some nice relaxing ingredients, helps relaxthe muscles and body very nicely

So use your imagination on this. A day that begins pretty early, is very busy both in footwork, constantly walking, lunging down, so much so that when you get to the gym, you don't have to TRY to let go of the day before training, your brain just sees the "stressor" of a workout and performs, quite well I might add. You leave it all in the gym, get home to really struggle staying a bit more alert because you have to eat and its not super late yet. You go to bed tired after settling down and then you feel like youre RIGHT on the verge of falling asleep, conscious mind is clear but then you just toss and turn in 10-15 minute intervals.

This is basically what happens. Last night was awful. Though waking up was great.

So the days up to the month turn were very busy still with work, the month of August, the beginning was pretty heavy as the final 2 weeks in a month are generally really busy. On the last night, the 28th's notes I made a point to stick with 2 caps, because 3 seriously groggs the snot out of me in the mornings.

I took 2, slept with a couple of interruptions, one being a full bladder. So the 29th and 30th, my "weekend" days were great relative to the other stuff. I don't think I had any episodes of sleepwalking to report, I snored a ton as recorded on the recorder app I use, but everything was good. Actually really nice for a change. I am noticing, not sure if this is related but my upper body push days after about 90 minutes of leaving the gym(food, no food, pre, no pre) I tank HARD, so hard in fact I tend to almost need a nap. I tried working immediately after this and by the time I got set up at work I had the "itis".

Spotty over the weekend, playing catch up next couple of days on log here.

OK so the turn of the month was randomly solid. This was a 2 cap dose, about 30 min before bed. I started scaling my "restlessness" based on time and noticed that too much time between sleep and dosing would result in a bit more restlessness.

Recorder picked up only snoring, nothing to report from my female guest, woke up once easily to empty bladder. Woke up 3 hours later pretty easily for a total of 7 hours of sleep. Back was even stiff from sleeping so still. Lol.

My posts are not posting.. I have been logged in 3 to 4 times the past 7 days, thought I posted 2 updates and they never posted.

Yes I quickly learned that for me 3 caps, I had less restful sleep, but 2 caps actually allowed me to relax without making me feel groggy as all hell the next morning John. I had been using 3 from the start and more often than not, i was super super groggy the following day, actually feeling like my body was filled with molasses. I cut it down to 2, just to see, and to that point in the log everything was much more manageable.

I will retype my 2 updates...
