    Am I doing too much?

Hey everyone. I've been powerlifting for a while now. My numbers are going up but I'm starting to feel slugish. So I want to add more conditioning into my routine. I chose 5/3/1 since it's the most adaptable and I can still do conditioning. My plan was doing a 2 day lifting split:

    Sun: Squat/Bench

    Mon: Crossfit

    Tues: Off

    Wed: Crossfit

    Thurs: Off

    Fri: Deadlift/OHP, and Crossfit after

    Sat: Off

Is it still possible to make (slow) strength gains or am I setting myself up for burn out? I still plan on following my current program for at least 6 more months before I do this.

Doesn't Wendler have templates with lots of conditioning work in them?

BTW - are you gaining weight? You need to make sure you have some higher rep work like BBB to build a base of muscle.

IMO, you should do 5/3/1 4 days a week and forget about crossfit. That isn't too much, you just need to adapt to the workload.

You probably do not eat enough, your volume is really not that high, you even have off days...
Try to eat more carbs and see how that works.
