decided to start a journal, big fan of logging and I want to keep a little better track of my progress and workouts.
my name is karina I have been training for a little over a year and a half, I have lost 80 pounds but have a long way to go I would like to get down to about 175 final goal weight depending on my bodyfat when that comes around. just ended my first go of the hyper growth program it was pretty much like my old program . 5 days lifting 2 days cardio, with added cardio every day. chest/tris, back/bi's/ legs/cardio n abs/ bench assitor/squat assistor/cardio n abs. I just took 3 days off to rest up, I do not know which program I will be starting next, probably just going to mix it up try some things then start a new program. definitely decent weight with volume. my current calorie intake is 1700 I use my fitness pal to keep track and stay within suggest macros, little more protein and little less carbs.
current measurements are:
thighs: 27 inches
biceps: 17 inches
calves: 17.5
waist: 42-44 inches
current pr's are
Flat bench - 135 x 3
db press 40's x 10 (just started working with dumbbells for presses and flys 2 months ago)
barbell squat - 235x 3
lat pulldown - 170x 10
high row 210x 10
Preacher curl - 80 x 10
leg curl 155 x 20 or 165x 12
pec fly 130 x 15
plate loaded leg press 500 x 5
current supplements: bio gro, joint supplement, multi vitamin, omega 3 6 9, nitro peak protein, bcaa peak/restoraid, my pwo varies from: 1mr, uncut, body rush, muscle rush and im on a low stim break right now so I take: morph or jitter free power peak. haven't been taking fat burner since stim break, but will start taking again soon.
will try to take better pic but this is my before pic taken today. will find a picture from when I was my heaviest.

I have never seen them give out free food on this one. I go like once or twice a month there. when im forced lol but I wouldn't eat it if they were offering pizza, the bagels I have heard of I would take sometimes la fitness is giving out samples of smoothies, yogurt or turkey subs. really nice post workout on the way to class. its like night and day between the gyms. I gotta take some pics of my gym. its a la fitness sports club. I love playing indoor basketball.

I most of it was how crappy I felt and how my movement was. got out of breath really easily , fatigued barely lifting anything and almost having to go up to 4xl in shirts. I can now fit into certain 2xl shirts. I was extremely unmotivated about a lot of things. the hardest part becoming motivated and sticking to eating better and exercising, no more excuses. started dancing/bodyweight exercises/swimming everyday. then started playing a lot of basketball and using 20 lbs dumbbells, then joining a gym finally discovering more lifting. after a certain point it was no longer a chore it was something I loved doing and wanted to do. noticing results just helped fuel the fire. I used to be a size 54 waist now I wear a 44 and they barely fit, need to get 42's. i think in the end it just came down to how i feel and how bad i wanted to change my life, not for others. tried many diets like atkins, etc. but the lack of activities i would do is what kept me from going anywhere. once i started a routine and stuck to it, things took off from there.

yesterday my plans fell through a couple times, wasn't able to make it to gym, plus my upper back near my trap and rhomboid I slept on it weird and it was kind of pinched. did a ton of stretches and this back massager thing to rub out the muscle. feels better today, but yesterday all I did was a ton of incline pushups I lost count lol and a hour of walking after I got home from night school at 10pm if I cant go with my neighbor I cant go to the gym today, my friend matt and my dad are working. so it might be supersets with the barbells I have in the heat. if I had a bench I could do better db presses/flys I hate doing them on the ground the range of motion is ridiculous. I will figure something out. gotta get a session in today before glass. craving the gym :/

only had 40 minutes to get my workout in, so I went crazy with supersets. there was a little rest in the beginning between sets, hardly any at all at the end. my chest is demolished and so are my triceps, im still a little shakey. had a great session today. hit a db PR. going to take some bcaa peak and bio gro right now. then later school and probably poker.
Flat bench 3sets x15 reps
100
Flat db bench 3 x 10
40s PR previous was 40's x 8
3 sets x Supersets
flat db flys 25's x12 / flat db bench 25'sx 10
3 sets x supersets
Incline bench 90 lbs x 10 reps / decline bench 80lbs x10 reps
3 sets x supersets
Skullcrusher 120 x 12 / v-bar tricep Pushdowns 120 x 12
and of course I typed all this up hit the backspace bar and it deleted all of it! had to type again lol
