The bar holder is included in the sale but I don't think the other items are discounted. It's only the 246 "over stock" items on the page in the link above.

The hex dumbbells are selling for around the price of used dumbbells and include shipping. lol.

LOL. I don't think so. I think it's just "excess" inventory items that are listed on the original link.

Thanks for the heads up and link! I'm going to pick up a set of the PlateMates and am thinking about ordering their 3/4" rubber mats. I needed to purchase more stall mats anyways. They're listed at $89. So, with the 50% off and free shipping, that's only $44.50 to my door. The stall mats from TSC are $40-43 around here + tax (unless you get them on sale). For about a couple bucks more, I'll hopefully get less smelly more dimensionally accurate mats and won't have to worry about picking them up. Anyone think of any downsides? (Other than not matching my current mats)

i had the same thought. only thing is i'm not really sure they're not smelly - i've read that many of the commercial gym rubber is also cured with sulfur. i wonder if anyone here might have one of these.

I don't have experience with the plates. They look similar to Cap. There are some shipping restrictions. Ordering two to six 45s has free shipping but if you order eight 45s then you pay freight. But I suppose, you could put in multiple orders.

Ah, screw it. Just picked up 6 45lb plates for $177 w/ shipping and tax (shipping was free for 6 plates). Comes to $.65/lb, better than what I've seen on my local CL market.

Would you guys think those 4x6 mats are of similar quality to the standard horse stall mats? I'd like to pull the trigger on some since stall mats are $47 in this area but I'm scared of the commitment, ha.

I went ahead and ordered 6 3/4" mats. Since you can only get free shipping on orders less than 300 lbs I had to do it in 3 separate orders. It wasn't a big deal though and they let me do it all in one phone call. I also grabbed a foam roller.

Apparently this sale is going on all week (monday-friday) but the items on sale are going to change daily.

I took a blind leap and got the pendlay colored bumper plates. after discount I got 4x45's, 4x25's, and 4x10's for about $370. I ordered them with no picture, but I am assuming they are the colored econ's. Also got plate mates for about 15 bucks. good deal over all i think.

Was a little over $400 all together with tax. Split up into two orders to avoid freight.

What's the freight pound limit? Rubber hex dumbbells are a good deal too, so I'm just going to finish off my home gym in one go.

300lbs just called, might split my order in to a bunch of them. 50-100 by 5lb for the pro styles is $1100 just about if you do them all in separate orders for the ground shipping

Great find. I am interested in a couple things. Been wanting a hex bar. They have these two, though I don't know if they are any good?

    http://www.power-systems.com/gcsearch.aspx?q=shrug+bar

I was really wanting a rackable one for overhead pressing, but I also wanted the raised handles for deadlifts which jacks the price up on the BWTG one. Thoughts?

I also am interested in some bands. I was waiting for a sale to pop up on elitefts, but not sure if power systems has some comparable ones.

Lastly, I think I might jump on the stall mats too since getting ones from a tractor supply would mean gas, time, borrowing a truck, where these would be shipped to my door. My gym is in my garage, so hopefully if there is a smell, it shouldn't be too bad or hard to deal with.

Nice find! Will rep when I get off spread. I'm trying to find something I "need" but having trouble - as you said, most of this stuff is unnecessary . And I already have most of the basics - plates, stall mats, foam roller, bands, fractional plates. Am I missing anything? I guess maybe bumpers, but I don't do Oly lifts at all and don't really plan on starting.

What about a chalk bowl stand (with wheels!)?

Bumpers were easy to miss because of them not having a picture included. I went to the muscledriver usa site to take a look at them to see what might be in store for my garage.

Did that include shipping? I placed 6 pairs of hex dumbbells in my cart this morning just to see what would happen, and I got hit with a freight charge that was as much as the as the dumbbells. When I halved by order to just 3 pairs, shipping was free, so there seems to be an upper limit on the number of items before you get charged.

I wound up not ordering anything . . . yet.

From what's been said, seems like the free shipping limit is 300lbs.

I ordered 270lbs of plates and got free shipping. Some have said that you can split the order in order to get the free shipping.

Correct. I ordered my mats over the phone and they verified this. They have no problem breaking up the orders to stay under the 300 lbs for each though.

I broke it up into 9 orders. Not bad considering the Ironmasters I currently have ran me 872ish with shipping. Im still within 30 days so they are giving me a full return.

I called in to order 12 of the mats. They said they were unable to split into multiple orders, even though I referenced it occurring with other orders. When I asked if there was anything they could do, after placing me on hold for a bit, they honored the sale price and gave me free freight. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and helpful. While more expensive than stall mats (especially since there was tax too due to them doing trade shows in Ohio), you can't touch gym mats for this price normally. Hopefully they will have the true dimensions and square edges that are normally true of gym mats. Also picked up PlateMates for $15. Good deals all around. Thanks again morebarbell reps, every time I can!

BTW, they mentioned that tomorrow's promotion is going to be free freight but no 50% off. Not sure which is correct since md99 heard differently.
