I'm in constant physical pain. Sometimes everything all over hurts at once, and sometimes it's a couple of joints and a bone or two that hurt. I feel it deep in the skeleton system at times, anywhere from a level 3 to a level 8, but it's always there.
Yesterday it was just overwhelming. The intensity wasn't so bad, but just the fact that it always hurts, and I just wanted some relief for a few minutes, but I knew it wouldn't go away no matter what. I lay down on the kitchen floor and cried because I've been in so much pain for so long.
After what we went through with my wife's diagnosis, her lifelong struggle with her own physical pain - albeit in a completely different way - leaving us without the resources for me to see our doctor about this because there's no way we can afford more medical procedures. I mean we can't afford for everyone to have them, so I won't go. I never know when she or Jake will have to see a doctor or go to the E.R. again.
She rubbed my back and told me I needed to see our doctor. I told her once again that we can't afford for me to go to the doctor. We're in debt up to our eyeballs because of all the other medical bills, so I just have to live with it, and it sucks.
I still lift. I still train with kettlebells. I still throw, and sometimes when I'm in the middle of training, I forget that I'm in pain. I feel strong, and I'm in a different place in my head.
Then it comes back.
I'm tired of it, but that doesn't matter. No matter how sick and tired I get of it, it's still going to be there, so I live with it, and since copays are thing of the distant past, I may never know what's going wrong with my body, so forget how to fix it.
Oh well.
Life goes on.

Maybe it is something that can be treated without expensive medicine/surgery, but the first step is to know what is wrong. Maybe just go see a doc to find out what the issue is, and then you can decide how best to treat it given your financial situation (or maybe not treat it at all). If it were me, I would at least try to understand what was causing it.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

We spent over $20k on finding out what was "wrong" with my wife. Finding out what's wrong with me could cost even more...only now we don't have the resources to start the process. For every blood test the cost is anywhere from $6-$300 out of pocket. An MRI is over a grand out of pocket.

Fibromyalgia is what my wife has. Her CNS just went haywire one day and never went back to normal.
My pain is in the bones, though...so best case I have some form of arthritis. Worst case is cancer.
For right now, I'm back on fish oil, doing Intuflow and some light yoga...tai chi, and getting more sleep."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

MY Prayer for you is--- Whatever I fear the most, Lord Jesus, I put into Your loving hands, knowing You will give me peace and courage.
REST IN GOD'S PRESENCE
First, nothing should terrify or discourage us if we rest in God's presence: "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you."(5) ... "The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."(3) ... "I will never leave you nor forsake you."(5)
To be able to walk through adversity, we must rely on God's presence. God was with Moses, He was with Joshua, and He is with us. He didn't forsake Moses, He didn't forsake Joshua, and He won't forsake us. In the darkest night, He is there. In the deepest pain, He is there. In loneliness, He is there. In seasons of despair, He is there.
RELY ON GOD'S POWER
Second, nothing should terrify or discourage us if we rely on God's power: "No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life."(5) No one! The universe is under God's control—He leads forth the stars. Not one star is missing.
The Apostle Paul said, "I can do all things through Christ who enables me."(6) Satan and his demonic hosts are subject to God: "Every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God."(7)
BELIEVE GOD'S PROMISES
Third, nothing should terrify or discourage us if we believe God's promises: "I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses."(8) ... "You will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them."(2)
Note that God's presence provides us the power to appropriate His promises. God promises to get His people over the river. He will be with us when the river is calm. Enjoy His presence. When the river is a torrent, trust His power. When difficulty comes, rely on God's promises.
OBEY GOD'S WORD
Fourth, nothing should terrify or discourage us if we obey God's Word: "Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. ... Meditate on [the Book] day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."(9)
Success is predicated upon obedience to God. To do that we must grow in our personal relationship with God. We must trust His power, claim His promises and obey His Commandments.
How am I handling the giants in my life? . I have times of discouragement. Sometimes I feel trapped, and on occasion I weep.
The Lord Jesus continues to work in me. His grace truly is sufficient. . I'm learning to rest in the Lord. Each day is a day that He has made, and I rejoice because of it. God's presence assures me of His care. His power protects me from giants. His Word feeds my soul and directs my path.
28“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

My advice, for what it's worth. The Drs had my on ibuprofen, and it didn't work. They tried tylenol, and it didn't work. I now have a scrip for Naproxen, which is actually Aleve. That stuff works great. Getting to the point where I only take it when I feel the stuff coming on.
Last year, my arm was partially paralyzed for over a month. Sometimes my leg goes out and I need a cane to walk. Hasn't happened since starting training. I do full body. If I feel the symptoms coming on, I take the naproxen, and lately, all is well.

Of all things, ginger seems to help it a lot, but that wears off eventually.
I'll keep the Naproxen in mind. I've used it in the past for bad headaches, so I'm familiar with it.
I've also considered the possibility of food allergies. I thought maybe something in wheat, so I tried going off, and the symptoms got better but came back. Yesterday I had a brief bout of really bad pain that came after eating salami...but it was also when a high-pressure system rolled in, and I'm sensitive to that as well. Ugh...maybe it's processed meats or something in the curing process. Nitrates supposedly aggravate inflammation I think..."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1

I know that these links may not help you, since you may not be able to afford healthcare. But maybe knowing what it might be could help you in some way. BTW, how long have the symptoms been lasting? You also mentioned that your wife rubbed your back, was that a general thing, or did your symptoms start with back pain?In one of these links it says something about the symptoms starting with back pain.

You also mentioned that you have spent a lot on your wife's medical bills and such. I've read that stress and anxiety can bring on joint pain. This may fit in with the fact that you say that the bone pain goes away after exercising. Exercise does reduce the symptoms of anxiety and stress for little while.

I'm not sure exactly when it started. Looking back it was just one day I tried to stand up and felt like my joints were being pulled apart. The symptoms come and go and move around my body. It's always there somewhere in some degree, and I mean as long as I'm awake, something hurts somewhere in my body, and sometimes everything hurts.
My wife's back rubbing was a comfort offering. My back, thankfully, hurts least of all.
Thanks for those links. I'll do some reading and see if I notice any patterns."Blessed be the Lord my rock, who trains my hands for war and my fingers for battle." - Psalm 144:1
