Seems like the best place to live if you can afford it. I would take happiness over money everyday. And considering I detail exotic cars for high prices, the market is perfect for me.

dude i went up through auburn and stopped in colfax to meet up with a friend
phuckin beauriful up there, over the donner pass and into truckee
colfax was like, felt like i dropped back 50 years into some old small town, had to wait 15 minutes for a train to pass by to get to the other side of town.. what a trip

This srs. Especially if you're in Sacramento. Brb Reno two hours away, brb SF two hours away, brb beaches 3 hours away, brb Tahoe/Skiing hour and a half, brb Yosemite few hours away, brb VEGAS is a car ride away, brb if you want country living just head up north Redding/Truckee etc, brb California GOAT state

Very true. I moved to CA 5 years ago from Michigan. Almost everyone I run into that was not born in CA is from MI, IL, MN, OH, etc. It is very very odd. Almost like being in the midwest as far as people, but in the beautiful state of CA. Just amazing weather and so many things to do. Ive lived in Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Pasadena, and Valencia-which is surrounded by mountains. Last week we drove to San Fran, next week San Diego, in a month Vegas. Non stop places to see.
