I have been eating grapes instead of junk food to help me lose weight. I have read on a few web sites that grapes are bad because of the sugar. Should I stop eating them ?

They're fine. They're high in various antioxidants but also high in fructose. Just don't go hog wild. If you want to hedge your bets, eat them with a fatty meal or soon after a workout when your insulin sensitivity is particularly high. And eat a variety of fruits besides grapes. There are some really great plum-apricot hybrids in season, now, for instance. I just finished a box of plum-cherry hybrids that blew my mind.
