I have a hard time believing that you could lose up to 2 pounds per day. Let's say your bmr was around 2000kcal, at MOST you would lose 1 lb every two days. But that's being generous, because your metabolism will slow down dramatically. Any weight you do lose would most likely be either water-weight or muscle. Think about it, if you aren't even fat adapted yet, the first place your body is most likely going to derive its energy from would be your muscles.
