    Ramadan

    Hey all,
Ramadan is coming up, this Tuesday it begins I believe. If you don't know what Ramadan is, its basically just intermittent fasting, only I can't drink water throughout the day.
It is one month, and I would really love to lose fat and maintain or gain some muscle if it is at all possible.
    Any advice?
Should I just lift after I break my fast and do like 15 minutes of cardio?

Careful doing cardio without drinking water. I would eat a meal with my fat/protein macros before sunrise, and do strength training before sundown, followed by your post workout meal with more carbs after sundown.

this looks like something ill try to do because training fasted WITH NO WATER is insanely tough. I have a 24 7 open gum luckily so i plan on eating a big salad with lots of meat for iftar then i will workout hard card and strength and eat good throughout the night and before i sleep ill do some walking on my treadmill at home to burn more cals right before bed since our scheldules are basically reversed. Losing fat will be easier during this month but your approach must be serious every night. I know how tiring it may be to workout asap after you eat but that will be your best way to lose fat leaving your system not as full before a trip to the gym

You cant drink water? Can you drink anything? Seriously you should reconsider your religious endeavors.

It's all possible inshallah. Just count your macros and hit your numbers akhi. It's basically intermittent fasting (16-17 hrs without food or water, 7-8 hr feeding window) but people act like bishes cause its done for the sake of Allah (swt). Ramadan kareem 3alaina w 3aleek.

Just be careful with the cardio during the hours you cant keep hydrated. You could really hurt yourself. A lot of my Muslim friends seem to have no issues maintaining their size during this period so im sure you will be okay

    Good luck!
