Sweden is a pretty sweet place to be right now for beer, outside of the US and maybe Belgium from time to time...
Good deal. Ya, bombers are ridiculous sans recession buster Lagunitas beers... I hate how some bombers cost more per oz than 4ers or 6ers. Maths does not compute.

GD man, you are a hard sell!
I wouldn't say "meh"...but I also wouldn't say that it lived up to all the hype it has received. But I do think it is pretty tasty for the price. I have had some brews that are much worse and cost 2x as much.
Heard about Pizza Port Brewing for the first time the other day on some show on TV....Brew Dogs maybe? Need to check out some of the beers...but don't think I have seen them around here.
That is INSANE. Mad jealous. I would never leave the place and would keep an extra large bottle of Ibuprofen on the shelf
In other news...did you see the Newcastle pseudo Superbowl commercial? Good stuff. Their beer is decent at best, but their commercials are top notch in my opinion.

It held up very well and no oxidation. Like most quads, it took on plum wine and brandy flavors over time. Thanks for sharing, bro, it was a real treat. Whenever my wife and I get around to taking a Euro trip, I'm definitely going to try some fresh Westy 12.

Yo homebrewers, what's the most likely reason for beer to not start fermentation? Extreme temp? Chitty yeast?

These.
If you didn't properly steep your grains or mash or use an extract or SOMETHING to get wort, then the yeast has nothing to ferment.
If the temperature was way outisde the window for that particular strain, it'll cook/freeze it to death before it has a chance to ferment.
Or if it's a pH issue...
those would be my guesses; how do you know it's not fermenting though? Have you taken several hydrometer readings?Common Sense Crew

Followed directions word for word, but it was like 60 F when i added dry yeast to the wort and now it's been 4 days with no bubbles in the airlock and no krausen
Is it likely i'll run into more complications if i add more yeast tomorrow, given it's been a few days already?

Dry yeast to wort... that's likely the issue. You should have made a starter first to make sure the yeast was up and going before pitching.
