It was disappointing to see Roelly Winklaar win the Wings of Strength.
He just looked so out of proportion in some poses and the asymmetry in his lats were glaring...
That mid-section, too...

Roelly looked really good at this show.
Looks like ditching Sibil was the right call. We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.

Yeah, your fukkin nuts.
It was the exact opposite, I was glad Roelly won. He had improvements to make and he made them. Plus it's his first show primarily on his own, he's pretty much still figuring things out and will take what he learned to earn this win and use it as a reference for future shows. Everyone has room for improvement and I guarantee he will. I think his best is still yet to come.

He exceeded my expectations, and this was definitely a step in the right direction. It's, more or less, a wake up call to people who were counting Roelly out. I'll admit, I originally expected Lionel Beyeke to win, so I'm impressed. With more time, and experience, I think he'll achieve even better conditioning with a similar package.

I think that they should just say, “Hey, if you guys don’t talk, you have to see Hercules In New York.” I guarantee those guys would talk much faster. You don’t need to do waterboarding or anything else. That’s the ultimate threat.''

Roelly looks really good at this show. I'm glad he was able to keep more mass while dieting in them and it looks like his calves came up a bit more as well. It also looks like he made improvements to his back and was able to pose well to show it off. I really do wish he would stick with the FDB style from the British GP though, looks so much better like that. It just makes his lats look like they have a lot more flare. Unfortunately, the competition he had didn't look too amazing, most seemed to have a bit of conditioning problems but it's great he got the win nonetheless.
