    Best fish oil to get 3-4g of DHA and EPA

    What would you guys recommend?

    total 3g of dha and epa

    This! Great brand... a little pricey but worth it... 2 teaspoons a day and not worrying about having to take multiple soft gels... even of the higher dosed fish oil softgels

    Are you actually trying to treat yourself with fish oils or is this just a general effect you're looking for. Krill oil would be a better option to look into if you really need the assistance, its a little pricier but you also need lower doses and if you have a medical condition it would probably be worth it.

    If you're just looking for a supplement to benefit then you could low dose the krill oil or stick with 2g/daily FOs. Krill Oil>>>Fish Oil though

    Just general benefits but want to stay around 2-3gm, the one time I've had my cholesterol checked, my TG's were elevated >400. However I attribute this more to the fact that I wasn't in a fasting state but better safe than sorry

    Kind of like taking a vitamin a day - worth it to me even though I prob pee a lot of it out

    plus trying to get those 30 controlled labs labels - haha

    Oh I gotcha. IMO multis are a waste of money, fish oils might have their place but I don't use those either. Unless by vitamins you were referring to one specific that you know to be deficient in otherwise just having a bunch of deficiencies is rare

    If you truly want to prevent any deficiencies then just make sure you get a decent variety of foods in your diet and you'll honestly likely be ok. You can use online databases to tally up your average micro/macro intake and see where you end up. It will save you money in the end and help you isolate any problems and this way you'll actually know where you're at.
