Im in the Navy, currently deployed to Afghanistan. Since I got here 3 months ago I've mostly been working on calisthenics because I want to be able to do as many push ups/pull ups as possible and eventually do cool **** like flag pole. I can do around 12-16 good pull ups (palms outward) but I need to be able to do more than my LT, who does around 25. Im definitely an ectomorph and I can probably do more than 16 pull ups but I never really rest for more than a day, Ive been doing pull up pyramids, 2,4,6,8,10,8,6 ,4,2 so I do atleast 50 pretty much every day. Any ideas to get more reps fast?

Need to train up to be able to do 20+ pull ups ASAP

The Recon Ron or Armstrong pull up programs are both highly respected by some people I know. Might want to give one of those a shot.
