    finally hit 100lb dumbbells in the seated shoulder press

    woohoo!

    warmed up with 40lb, then the following three sets 50, 75, 85 then did the 100lb dumbbells all for 6 reps.

    Granted I am about 6'5 and going about 270 right now.

    You could, but I've never seen anyone lean back while doing the bb press. What I meant when I said 'shorter RoM' was that even if you tried to touch your delts with the DB's, the RoM would be less than that of the bb press.
