Extraterrestrial life is certain, but advanced extraterrestrial life... not so much IMO. The odds of it are as small and miraculous as those that led to human existence (and those odds are a lot smaller than you think). As for life advanced enough to successfully travel lightyears through space to explore other solar systems, well then the odds get even more extreme.

Sometimes i wonder if people who think similar to you have even seen a picture of a galaxy, or the universe. Such magnificent beauty, you really think we're the only creatures with the ability to have rational thought? we are half divine half animal, the universe has eyes, the same thing ("god") that created the universe exists within us and every part of the universe no matter how big or small. Like fractal patterns, you can take any piece no matter how small and it still contains everything. Why are there plants and substances that cause us to have divine spiritual experiences? How is nature so interconnected by random chance? if there were no bees the plants here would die and nothing would exist. Everything possible, the infinite moment.. god is upon you right now.
Don't let anyone regiment or box in your mind, you have an eye in the middle of your head that can take you anywhere.

Honestly I think they have visited. Even if they see us as "ants", it doesn't matter. If they are smart enough to get here in the first place they should be smart enough to know that we are an intelligent species. Us compared to ants is not the same as aliens compared to us. We actually have built technology around our earth that would attract or atleast intrigue any alien visitors due to the simple fact that it's there in the first place. They wouldn't be stupid or mindless enough to just destroy our planet just like that without cause. And if that were their plan then earth would've been gone along time ago because aliens have been around long before the times of the ancient Egyptians and other civilizations who built things that are near impossible even with today's technology. They are real, and they are here.
Just stating facts.

No, I don't refute that other intelligent life can exist (personally I hope that it does), I simply accept that the odds of other intelligent life existing are unfathomably small.
I think we tend to forget just how incredible the evolution of man and human civilisation is. There are so many happy accidents of biology, planetary atmosphere, distance from the sun, environment, climate and geography that are responsible for mankind getting to where it is now; that the odds of an equivalently vast number of coincidences occurring anywhere else has to be minute.
So again, I'm not saying that it can't happen, just that we should understand how small the odds of it actually happening are.
It's easy to forget that it was only the cataclysmic extinction of the dinosaurs that allowed mammals (for the first time) to become apex predators.
Life (in it's simplest biological form) has apparently existed on earth for as much as 3.5 billion years, man for somewhere between 100,000-200,000 years, and human civilisation for a mere 10,000 years. That's 10,000 years of intelligent life in 3.5 billion. That's 0.0000028%… 3 millionths of a percentile.
What does that mean? It means a person would be mad to think that human existence isn't exceptionally special. It means a person would be daft not to see how remarkable our rise and achievements as a species are. In the vastness of the universe and it's near-infinite possibilities, we're each and every one of us a miracle, billions of years in the making.
My point is merely that the odds of truly intelligent life developing are as infinitesimal as the many billions of happy accidents that that allowed our own development.
Nothing exists in isolation brah, every atom in the universe is effected by the atoms that surround it - that's merely the nature of existence. So development doesn't require design, merely interaction (over loooong periods of time).

I dont think we've been visited. But with the infinite size of the universe..there's gotta be something else with nipples out there.

Lol at those who don't believe in extraterrestial life...
our sun is a star, one star
There is 100-400 billion in our galaxy alone, but lets take an average of 200 billion stars for galaxy
there is atleast 100 billion galaxies in the observable universe,we don't really how big the universe is
Lets say there is one planet in the habitable zone that can support life/star...
Make your own calculations,lol

The All-Out Attack. Technologically superior forces aim their weapons of war and three legged walkers at Earth, which bravely fights back, driving them off through cunning, bravery, or just dumb luck... most of the time.
The Infiltration. Aliens are replacing, brainwashing, or controlling humans in order to take over from within. Generally, the populace at large doesn't even know it's happening. May involve The Virus.
A combination of the above, with an infiltration paving the way for an all-out attack.
Sometimes, there are good aliens that help us against the invaders; unfortunately, they tend to be much weaker and/or less numerous, since if they were equally or more powerful, the focus would be taken off humanity. Then there's the Benevolent Alien Invasion, where the invaders are the good aliens.
Often an allegory for some Earth-based conflict, either one that's happened in the past or one that people fear may happen. The Infiltration is especially popular as a metaphor for Communism.Rep Back All

Have we actually been visited? Who knows. It is a VERY small chance. Some say that aliens helped us in ancient times (as mentioned before), and some believe that our nuclear testing may have given away our location to other advanced civilizations.
With that said, I am certain there is/was/will be other intelligent life. We know little to nothing about what is out there past what we can see near us.
And for the bored/curious brahs:

This post is for the idiots who are saying the universe is too big or too vast for interstellar travel. You dont need to travel 1.8 light years to get from one habitable planet to another.
I know a lot of you cant use your brain so take a peace of paper, mark a dot one one end and another on the opposite far end. Bend the paper and the distance between the two dots are severely closer.
It's called wormholes.

But who was worm hole?
It's this kind of stupid, typical human thinking that hasn't allowed us to progress exponentially in the science of space travel. Obviously if they are superior enough to travel to earth then they have unlocked some pretty deep knowledge that we probably can't even comprehend right now.

A more plausible method of interstellar transportation would be an Alcubierre drive (something Nasa has already begun to research). What an Acubierre drive does essentially is expand spacetime behind it and contracts spacetime in front of it.

Why do people think that aliens would kill us on site and randomly take over earth?
Nah man, if they were capable of doing so... They would use us as slaves first. Maybe they are waiting until we are more advanced. Maybe we are already slaves. Srs
Global warming? The aliens told us to do this because the aliens like it warmer and are afraid of ice!
All the oil suddenly running out? Our governments are giving it to the aliens!
Nignogs suddenly accepted for no good reason and no longer blamed for every crime? The aliens are black!
Suddenly a wild aesthetic kunt appears and everyone starts lifting? He was an alien and they want us to be stronger for slave labor pnce it's normal to be swole!
Srs.
