I have to say though not to sound like a douche or anything but the truth is when i used to play video games, stay in my room playing mmo's i used to weigh 352 pounds and look at me almost 3 years later. Fitness and bodybuilding saved my life.

In all honesty I almost feel bad for the stereotypical neckbeards, they literally have nothing going for them. Secretly they wish they were aesthetic and not socially awkward.
