Doing a little research and planning on taking them before bed but there are so many forms to choose from and claims I don't know what to believe.
which forms are proven? and any truth to taking copper with zinc?
I have a simple zinc (as zinc gluconate) and mag (as mag oxide) bottle and from some sources it seems like i'm just pissing them out.

Most bioavailable forms of zinc and magnesium?

Albion chelated magnesium is great. Mag citrate is good and cheap too. As is magnesium malate which also provides malic acid which may have some performance enhancing effects if taken before exercise.
Zinc I would avoid:

Funny, I've been looking into these two supplements for the past few hours as I myself also have the same form of these two minerals as you. I already threw away all my mag oxide and I'm thinking about doing the same with the zinc. So far it seems like Zinc Picolinate is the best form of zinc, go for NOW Zinc Picolinate which is what I'm going to buy. As for Magnesium, it seems orotate, taurate, malate or citrate are the best choices. I went for Source Naturals Ultra-Mag which doesn't have any oxide and is also sold here on bb.com

wow, interesting on the zinc. I have never heard this before
I was looking up mag orotate and my only concern is that is like CEE with strong claims but no proof of them and no more effective than other forms.
prob gonna pick up some mag citrate.
thanks gents“You never won’t know what you can’t achieve until you don’t achieve it.”
