i wouldn't be surprised if that's what most doctors did. i can't understand why people think doctors are these geniuses because they're not. most of the time they probably don't even remember everything they tried to memorize and end up going back to their books for reference anyway.
yeah. real smart.

lol you're a glorified tooth brusher. wow you drill people's teeth and insert something to fill the cavity? wow that must be so hard!
that can be learned by anyone willing to learn it. that requires ZERO critical thinking skills whatsover. all you do is what your textbooks told you to do. step 1 drill. step 2 insert filling. it's just the same thing over and over with no critical thinking skills or intelligence involved. you just have to memorize the proper steps and THAT'S IT.
engineers actually have to have critical thinking skills unlike most healthcare workers that just sit there and regurgitate textbooks to their patients.

why? all they do is memorize. i agree it's A LOT of information to memorize but memorization doesn't require intelligence. it requires TIME. you need a lot of TIME to memorize.
ANYONE can memorize a large amount of information if they just sat down. give me a page of a novel and tell me to memorize every single word on that page. i bet i can do it in an hour or less. that's all med students do. they memorize information in a large scale. that's not intelligence. that's time spent memorizing.
engineers actually have to use critical thinking and logic which requires intelligence.

since when does status mean more intelligence? a fukking pornstar is more famous than a random doctor. is that pornstar more intelligent? stfu.
and not everyone is willing to sit down for years memorizing textbooks. if someone really put their minds to it then they can memorize a lot of information. the only reason there are so little doctors is because no one wants to sit down and memorize like they do.
kindergarteners can memorize the alphabet. that's essentially what med students do on a MUCH larger scale. how do you memorize a lot of information? by sitting there and memorizing. that's it. all that's required is someone that is willing to read textbooks for years of his life. where's the intelligence in regurgitating?

i have SOME respect for SOME doctors. your average family doctor is usually just someone that wanted the title doctor. they picked the lowest level just so they can say they're a doctor when most of the time when you ask them questions they have to go back to their handy dandy books to give you the answer.

Critical thinking skills... LMAO... Bro, majority of engineering classes are plug and chug. You go to lecture, take notes, remember which formulas are relevant, and then take exams using the formulas learned. Maybe you do some algebra or geometry to be able to properly use the formula.. There is nothing intellectual about that. So many engineering majors cry about their classes like girls. You somehow think you are smarter than doctors because you earned a C in Thermodynamics? LOL GTFO brah.

Always laugh at these kinds of threads, and the "who built your machines?!" BS. There are plenty of engineers that are smarter than doctors, and almost none of them (in reality none of them) are on the MISC. The ones coming up with the amazing innovations comprise the 1%ers of Engineering. You want to claim these as your own career path's success when in reality you are sitting in a cubicle developing a new screw size for the Ford Tundra 2014. Just like there are brain surgeons comprising the 1%ers of medicine, don't generalize yourself with the elite of your profession plebeian.
