I see conflicting opinions about this online. What is better for people with insulin resistance: 6 small meals or 3 large meals?
Assuming they eat the same macros.

As far as I know I'm not diabetic (last time checked two years ago). I generally feel healthy and I'm never overweight. But I may have some level of insulin resistance.
I had two experiences that made me investigate:
1. On 3 days Keto diet I noticed that my vision became very sharp.
2. On normal diet I noticed once that after I had a large meal (1000 kcal with lots of simple carbs) it affected my vision negatively. Upon Googling I found that this can be caused by large insulin spikes.
I aslo started this thread about it: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=154930523
so now I'm investigating how to eat to keep insulin in check. More frequent smaller meals seems to be a good idea.

I'll go with less frequent meals
Just some food for thought I guess:

I was actually going to write a bit about it, but I'm too tired right now so I'll just link those and leave it at that lol
One other thing to note: as the first link even says, it really is difficult to find studies that are actually pertinent to us in regards to insulin sensitivity & meal frequency.. one that that seems consistent is that sporadic meals (ie, few days eating 2 meals, then a few days eating 8 meals, let's say) has no say on insulin sensitivity.
