We have great pride in our comedy and have always seen it as one of the things that makes us as a nation. It is well known that the British are known for our sense of humour and of course we have had some of the most iconic comedy shows ever made (Fawlty Towers, The Office original, Only Fools And Horses etc) People always praise the British ability to be funny through non obvious routes like dry and wit and not slapstick which the USA gets criticised for. I am not like some British people who bash American comedy however, The Simpsons is practically my favourite show ever. Some of the American comedy movies over the years have been amazing, and I thought Ted was funny as phuck.
I can understand those who say that British humour is boring too, I see both sides of the argument tbh.
Anyway would be interested to see the misc debate on this, always intriguing.

I think to British people we are the funniest people in the world.
"Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race."

It's the accent.
And the teeth.
And the crappy food.
They conquer half the world but forget to pick up a few good habits from other cultures, Like brushing your teeth, hygiene, good food etc..
PS: Claims to be a democracy but still is being ruled by a 400 year old queef. lol"Hell is the Impossibility of Reason"
"Cowards die many times before their deaths, The valiant never taste of death but once."
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident."
