    Cant sleep Insomnia, how does it effect gains?

    Title, Cant sleep I still eat though : D, I sometimes stay up all night though, doesent make any sense to me. I cant be in bed unless its the point where im so sleepy I cant walk or talk. If its not that point I cant lay in bed for 15 minutes and try to sleep, it feels wrong to have my eyes closed. Anyways thoughts guys?

    Have you looked into getting this treated? I would think getting very little sleep for many nights in a row would affect recovery.

    Parents dont believe me at all, This just recently started happening and its really weird because, I train with so much intensity but im still not even tired. And I only stay up a whole night like once a week. :/

    Yeah, its really weird... the other nights I can sleep fine then from no where one night comes along and I littarly cant keep my eyes closed Ive tried everything but sleeping pills, In fact ive stayed up all night today, and ill prolly go through the day fine or feel a crash coming along somewhere in like 6 hours :/

    A crash?

    I guess once a week isn't that big of a deal. Kinda strange though. Have you found out anything about someone else with the same problem?

    Sadly no, I hate it because I have to take the next day off from the gym, there is no way training twice in the same awake time even feels relevantly right and I wouldent have the energy.

    I found that when I go to bed if I can't fall asleep after a little while, say 20-30 minutes, I will do something. Last night for instance, I went to bed at eleven but couldn't fall asleep so read for awhile, and then fell right to sleep.

    Yea if you've exhausted all the natural methods or techniques you can think of, which there are many, it would probably be worthwhile to see a doctor. How long has this been happening?

    Started like 2 weeks ago, I use to have it during school to but, some how I was able to fall asleep after tossing in bed for 3 hours or so :s
