Was due to get married in February after being with gf for nearly 6 years.
GF wants to have kids next year.
OP has a commitment phobia and the thought of kids is terrifying.

Goes off the rails for a couple of weeks living in hotels drinking everyday and partying in questionable establishments.
got absolutely shti faced in a club, pass out in taxi, sick all over taxi, driver calls police, gets arrested, spends night in jail (which in ***** could have turned into a jail term..srs)
Mates take me in and tell me to sort my sh*t out, get me back on the straight and narrow.
Booked and paid for a 3 week holiday around Brazil and Argentina (supposed to be there now)- cancelled at last minute, got nothing back.
Now living in a studio apartment the size of my en-suite bathroom at my place.

That pretty much summarizes the last 3 weeks of my life.. shti sucks.. but we're on the mend now..

Feel like I need to get away for a while so just booked a flight to Bangkok on Thursday, for 10 days, and i'm going fuking all guns blazing..

a shocking amount, the annoying thing is I pay rent 3 times a year, we lived in a very nice apartment on the beach on Palm Island which isnt cheap, I've just payed the last payment on that place until the end of the year (aprox US 12k x 3) and have had to find another apartment to rent on top of that. Add south american holiday which was fully paid for and non refundable, hotel bills and partying we're not far off around $35k US... fukc! i've never thought about that.
