other thread was filled with weak topics, so let's do something that will cause a chitstorm
personally, I believe it shouldnt be legal, nor should it be viewed as '' normal''. imo, if being gay was something someone was born with, then it would most likely be a reccessive trait that through years of evoulution would have been wiped out. I mean, the whole point of having the best traits and strongest shall survive is to reproduce to make the best offspring as possible.
Now if being gay is something your born with, then that would mean 0 reproduction, meaning a wasted human. And as evolution has thought us, weak traits will get erased to make the human race stronger.

The basis of your argument is that gay people shouldnt be allowed to marry because they are inferior to straight people.
Why shouldnt inferior people be allowed to marry?
Will a 1/10 person (hypothetically speaking) being married reduce the quality of a 9/10 person's marriage.Sig line can't be a novel

shut the **** up with "evolution" arguments
so cars shouldnt exist because we have legs to travel?
we shouldnt go out to space because we evolved on earth?
we are in a golden age of science. humans, both now and on a greater scale in the future, can bypass whatever traits are not or were not favorable in our surroundings.
all of u are for cell-tech usage but we evolved with no need to bypass our natty limit. but for some reason most of u are still ok with it, even though its not "natural"<Made by Koloxoid>

didnt realise gays post regular updates on their life because its private
so stfu with your thoughts on them didnt realise you can dictate others lives because you have a voice
grats on disliking somebody because they like something differnt to you
If you dont like skateboarding does that mean all skateboarders should be banned from doing what they enjoy
If somebody doesnt like going to the gym does that mean everybody should be banned from going?
ofcorse not if somebody wants to marry somebody go ahead have a nice time should be the happiest time of your life commiting to something that you want to do.
oh and the only response if Gods wishes which in theory god was created 2000's years ago and therefore the rules then and now are differnt as society has changed so maybe you should change your pants cause i bet u just sht urself reading this
oh lawdy we dun goofed
oh and as for the reproduction argument, if that happend then that would be a good thing due to the amount of people currently on this planet, and the number is growing 7 billion on a planet currently, if that continues at the rate it is then we will all die of starvation besides....women love the DWhat's comical is that you genuinely believe that you know what you're talking about. - EricKanevskiy

aware me on god telling you this apart from in a book that was written a few thousand years ago with somebody with any power and money back then could afford to change to suit their agenda
or is this another one of those well i heard it in church on sunday so it must be true...
shame we still follow rules written 2000 or so years ago when if that book was never written wars would be avoided and millions would of been spent in technology and medicine aswell as space travel and sea explorations...
such a shame we wont reach where we should be for another 500 years due to the writings of somebody that nobody has ever seen with clear evidence showing what they have seenWhat's comical is that you genuinely believe that you know what you're talking about. - EricKanevskiy

Biologically, homosexuality has a place in mammals behavior and there are evolutionary advantages to it (otherwise it would not continue in the gene pool). Therefore, homosexuality itself should not be shunned. However, whether that means that gay marriage should be allowed is not clear. Marriage itself was historically a construct of the family unit, and thus between a man and a woman. Although it does not necessitate having a family, getting married without having kids is pretty pointless. But, people are still allowed to do it. And since straight people are allowed to be married without having children, it doesn't make a lot of sense to not allow same sex marriage. Now, factor in that same sex couples are allowed to have children either thru artificial insemination or adoption.
The main problem in marriage is the fact that men and women are not treated equally by the law (women are treated preferentially) and thus it is a system that injerently ****s over men. In a same sex marriage, however, since both sexes are the same neither will be treated preferentially. Same sex marriages are superior in this way. When it comes to divorce, neither of them will be discriminated against for their sex and there will be a fairer split. This is the same with child custody.
I therefore conclude that not only is same sex marriage allowable, but it is actually preferred to straight marriage, which is really just a death sentence for men. If you are a man and you want to get married nowadays, you are insane. The best years of your life are the ones in which you decide your problems are your own. You do not blame them on your mother, the ecology, or the president. You realize that you control your own destiny.

I used to think not, but truthfully couldn't care. Marriage is pathetic and unnecessary regardless of whose it is between, a societal norm to control people and convince us of the existence of love as oppose to the reality which is lust.
In all honesty, I would say gay marriage, in today's society, is a far safer endeavour in the eyes of a man, as we all know what heterosexual marriage achieves on the man's behalf.
Also, the premise of your argument OP states marriage is a biological and evolutionary imperative and is needed for reproduction, which it is not.

It used to be a man and a women of the same religion and race, who could not divorce.
You've not been paying a lot of attention to how much marriage has changed have you? According to the real traditional marriage women are slaves to their husbands. Things change people like you can slow it down but you'll never stop it.
You're politically pointless.

OP says that being homosexual is not something you are born with. But would heterosexuality be something you are born with either? Even though being straight is the "normal" sexuality, I doubt a young child KNOWS from the beginning if he/she is attracted to the opposite sex. I think as you grow and experience life, you realize what your likes/dislikes are, which could be the same as what you are and are not attracted to. So imo, you may not be born gay, but I do not think you are BORN straight either. And if you are not born either way, how could either one be considered "unnatural" while the other is "normal"?
