I've noticed a good number of pharmacy bros (pharmacists, and pharmacy and pre-pharm students) here in the misc, and it's about time that we have our own crew. This will be a place to discuss hot topics, exchange clinical pearls, vent about work and school, network, and give advice to bros just beginning their pharmacy careers or trying to get into pharmacy school.

In. Third year at 0-6 school checking in..just starting to get fun. I might transfer to another school closer to home though. I took the long route though, started at a 0-6 right out of high school, left after the first years(pre-Pharm) and went to a ny state school, got a bachelors in chemistry and then went back to the professional Pharm program where I started....

The 45 k is just a guess though, it's roughly $17 k a semester for tuition alone at my school. Add a few thousand more for rent and books ect, it's probably around 40k.

Why will you guys not fill my pain meds even a day early anymore. (I have legitimate script from Dr. from surgery.)
Is it Insurance, Pharm policy or what.
I have gotten them early before but lately it's been impossible.

I learned the hard way and as embarrassing as it is to admit, gen chem kicked my butt because I wasn't prepared.
