Just wondering how accurate a caliper test is using the 3 points?
I'm aware of more accurate forms, I just want to be able to perform the test on myself.

The most accurate test is water submersion. Now that I've said that, I would say calipers aren't the most accurate. I would use them as a benchmark to gauge change in body comp, but I wouldn't take the actual % number too seriously.Originally Posted by OceaniaJ

Did a Bod Pod test a few weeks ago. Very very good experience and very accurate. I recommend this if you can locate on in your area.

IMO best way to do it yourself is to keep browsing bf% check threads and learn to spot bodyfat with your eye.

I was under the impression that DEXA is the gold standard.

Dunno what the test was called but done 1 at the body power expo at mine was 4.6%!!

underwater > DEXA > BodPod > calipers
been DEXA'd at 7% and the same day been calipered at 3.5%, was nothing close to 3.5%NSCA CSCS
