Well the reason US bros pay so much less for chicken is that the way they raise them there is a lot more efficient and a LOT less healthy. Cheaper chicken, but not as good for you. I would rather pay more for chickens which don't live in cages and which aren't pumped full of hormones, antibiotic and steroids. But that is just me maybe.

here in the uk the best price for chicken at my local butcher is £5.50/lb which is 4 large chicken breasts with the fillets still on, if u wanna go really cheap u can get asda smart price frozen chicken breast for £3.99 for 1 kg, which is about 8 medium chicken breasts, but it contains added water and salt, still as plenty of protein in it though.

Try the fava beans, they're the cheapest thing ever and add the tuna. It'll maybe cost you like 5$ or less throughout the whole day.
140~150g protein + 140~150g carbs for about 3.50~4$.
But I warn you..your room will be a gas chamber, you'll have to fart every 2 seconds (the worst thing on legs day), so it's quite a disadvantage on training days and I'm being very serious, unless you can deal with that.

Its pretty simple
The minimum wage in the united states is $7.25 per hour
National minimum wage for adults in australia
Currently the full-time minimum wage is $15.96 per hour or $606.40 per week. This means that most employees in the national system shouldn't get less than this.
Casuals covered by the national minimum wage get an extra 23% ($19.63 per hour).
Hence why chicken breast cost $9 - $10 for 2.2lbs (1kg)Boom!
