    Which treadmill is better?

Weslo Cadence G5.9 Treadmill (Can't post links)
Weslo 5.2T Crosswalk Treadmill (Can't post links)

Walking in place is a better option than the two mentioned.

    LOL.

    No.

For that amount of money, just go outdoors, and walk.

Better bet is finding a quality used unit on Craigslist. I was able to score a mint Precor elliptical for $330 on CL.

Your money would definitely be better better spent finding a model you like at a gym and searching comparable models on CL. I like the life fitness models (very sturdy) and am waiting for my gym to sell me an old one.

I am fully aware that a gym membership will beat a $300 treadmill. However, I have no time in my schedule to go to the gym (and I have weights at my home) so I would rather buy a simple treadmill. Can someone please go back on topic and advise which of the two treadmills to buy?

Both those treadmills and any in that price range are s h i t. That is what everyone else is saying too. Buying any treadmill in this price range would be a waste of money.

Not to mention that if you are unwilling to make time to go to the gym and are uninterested in spending what you need to to get a good treadmill you will be very unlikely to use it and it will just gather dust. In this case get the second one, it has more places to hang clothes from.

Again, I am fully aware that a $300 treadmill is impossible to compare against a gym membership or a $1500 one. Not having time does not mean unwilling to make time. I simply do not have enough time to visit the gym regularly. That being said, I would rather purchase a budget treadmill.

Everyone who has posted in this thread has attempted to communicate to you that both of the options you mentioned are pure garbage. You would be much better off buying a pair of sneakers and walking or running outside. Sneakers are even cheaper than the pieces of junk you posted links to, and will last you much longer.

The downside to buying an inexpensive treadmill is that they do not last very long at all.

Lol, but why would you ask that question? 300 dollars won't even get you a budget treadmill - the treadmills you mentioned are not low budget- they will break on you in a year and it will be scrap.

A year if you are lucky, I was given a treadmill of this quality a few years back, I used it about 3 times a week just for easy jogs of about 30-45 minutes, within 3 months the belt was sticking, eventually it just burned out. I ended up shooting it up out in the desert for fun.
