Question Bulking making stomach quite round

It's not just from bloating or paranoia (i hope), but I've been bulking for about a year from 124lbs/21%bf up to 155/18% @ 5"11, pretty cleanly (40/40/20) all whilst making good strength gains. Lately I've noticed my stomach getting pretty round, and with bad posture it doesn't help much. I realise I'm still light as a feather, but skinny fat is horrible..

I do 15 min HIT twice a week on top of lifting.

Ignore it and continue to eat like horse or increase cardio a little? or something else??

the bad posture may be pushing your stomach out if your arching your lower back. id try and fix that first and keep doing what your doing and see if you notice anything. suck in that gut, push your chest out and stand up straight. keep at it and it should become 2nd nature.

Is it normal to have the gut sucked in while standing?? i tend to do it naturally when I'm walking, but not sitting (at a computer all day long) or any other time for that matter..

Search for stomach vacuum exercises, and try to keep your stomach 'firm' when sitting for long periods.

i wouldnt say "sucked in" per se, but it is natural to tense your abs when you are upright... which helps you support yourself. thus, it might give you a "skinnier" look. when you are sitting, your abs may not be as tensed up.

I am laughing while I am reading this. I have the same problem. I gained about 25 lbs in 5 months from just eating like a mad man and lifting heavy. I have to thank my bro in law who eats like an animal. I learned from the best. Now when I wear a hanes tank top you can see my belly, it is allway sticking out. My friend called it the gay gut, kinda funny. Oh, I forgot to mention that I have been doing NO cardio over the five months. Just change the diet and do some cardio you will be fine.

your bulking expect a somewhat gut gain, do heavy core work to strenght muscless, you still pretty skinny. Eat a little less if gainng too much fat, but again its a bulk, and hence no big need of cardio.
