    cottage cheese on a cut

    Hey guys,

I have always ended my day with 4% cottage cheese. (friendship California style) I use it as a source of protein and fats, since I dont feel like I am getting enough fats on a daily basis. I don't have any issues in losing body fat, nor am I lactose or feel bloated from it. I also am eating 4% as apposed to fat free to increase my daily fat intake. Just curious to see what everyone's thoughts are. Would there be any reason to eat something else instead that has a similar macro profile? I eat 2 servings, which is 240 calories daily. I realize that the fat is saturated, but since i dont eat junk food, I feel this might not be a problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    thank you,

Eat whatever you want to hit your macros. Don't over-think it.

    And read the stickies please.

I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be okay as long as you don't go over your own caloric limit, that being said, I can't imagine this would produce the best results in terms of leanness due to it violating your macro balance so intensely

What hidden gem am I missing from some sticky you speak of. I was just curious as to why some people cut out dairy ( not talking about lactose intolerance) when cutting. It has casein proteins, low carbs and fats which help reach my macros

    Superstition?

I know people who cut out most solid foods when cutting (yes a liquid diet), doesn't mean I should lend any credence to it.
